Has anyone tried to polish some Formula Rims.

Has anyone tried to polish some Formula Rims.
I used paint stripper on mine. If you notice on the Formula Rim have these little groves in them. Just wondering what that would look like if you tried to polish them.

You've been here a while, I know you know how to search.
As for the grooves, polishing them is to remove the grooves so the wheel is totally smooth. It'll look good. Theres a pic in this thread I found:

the formula Rims are 16inch and have a deep dish look to them (and no im not talking about the GTA rims)
i have a set of 1988 formula 350 rims, that are just sitting around in my yard; i should try to strip them and paint or polish them.
but i am lazy and i need money i think ill just sell them; already have a buyer..
