Those of you with 17" ROH Snypers...

What size rims are you running on the rear of your 3rdGens?? I currently have 16x8s and Im looking to get 17s for every day use and use the 16s I have now for drag radials. I have problems even with the 16x8s with the lip of the wheel well cutting into the tires. I do have an adj PHB already and maybe I can make more adjustements but my question is should I go with 17x8s or 17x9s?? I just wanted to see if anyone else ran into the same problems I have and what a better choice to avoid headaches. 17x8s seems to be the logical choice, anyone out there have any more info or experiences with these rims???

I have 17x9 Snypers all around, they make them with different offsets for the front and rear. I have 275/40/17 in back and 255/40/17 in the front. No rubbing at all. They look awesome.

You would happen to have any pics of them on your car would you?? Last time I checked with JDWheels.com they said the fronts and rears had the same offset if I remember correctly. Either Im mistaken which I dont believe to be or I had someone who didnt know what they were talking about when they sold me the rims. If you have detailed info about your rims like offset and what not please post that if you get a chance, thanks!!!

I dont know anything about the actual numbers for the offsets. I bought mine through groupawheels.com. When I received the wheels there was a note on the boxes that said the front and rear wheels were different and the boxes had "front" and "rear" written on them. To tell you the truth, they didnt look any different, but I would call up groupawheels and ask them about it. Now that I think about it, my old 16X8 stock wheels had different offsets also. Maybe it is the same for these wheels. Just a though. Im getting pics back today, I know I have some of the wheels, Ill try to scan a few.

they don't look right on a thirdgen, "that's not my cup of tee", probably would look sweet on a 98+ T/A :hail:

I think they look great on 3rdgens but the Birds have a harder time pulling it off but I still think they look great, maybe seeing them in person would give you a different opinion??
