I cried
I cried
Ok, I didn't really cry, but i was EXTREMELY pissed. I woke up this morning and it was raining. Had been for a while I guess and it was pretty steady. Got in my TA and the t-tops were dripping (no biggie, they always have a little), but today The car *** hated me. It was like a down pour in there. luckily my tech teacher didn't have class for us today... so I blasted home, kicked my mom's 2000 Grand Prix out and pulled mine into the garage. started stripping it down and drying until I had to leave for school. Seeing as how i've written a novel as it is I won't go into the horrble details of the leak, but it was bad..... my dad spent the day in the garage working on it for me while i was at school- what a guy!
Hopefully there's no permanent damage.
Also, I have gotten a response to a previous ??
Will a 15x8 with 4.5 bs and no offset work on our cars?

We got it 'fixed' yesterday. My dad dried it all out and used some sealer stuff, hopefully that takes care of it..... I really don't wanna have to shell out the cash for a new weather stripping set
I really miss my hard top now, but thats life ya know. Thanks for the replies guys.

My truck is leaking through the windshield. My seats are soaked every time it rains. Grr!

No leaks for me either. I feel for you. Still I would rather have a T Top that leaks and not drive it in the rain than a hard top that can't be a T Top at all when the sun is shinning.

Its times like those that make me glad I don't have T-Tops, but the cons don't compare to the benefits. It would sit in your car on an Autumn day and look up and see the leaves falling. Can't appreciate that with a hardtop.

Rains here once every 8 months if we are lucky. My Tops leak a little bit but its all that can be done from keeping the seals from drying out.
mined leaked alittle, and then fixed most leaks with black silicon.
it rained this one day for like 12 hours straight and like a couple inches came down and my passengers set was a bit wet, i believe it came from around the top corner. so alittle more silicon should work..
t-tops are great, leaks can be fixed easily.

Yea, they can be fixed. My dad got mine done that same day. We tested the work with a sprinkler today
Two tiny drips now, but we pinpointed them and they will be taken care of in the near future. T-tops are really nice, definately an attention getter on a summer day. I think the only thing better would be a full Targa top. I saw a post about a guy making one, does anyone know how that ended up?

What was your dad fixing? I thought you said it was just leaking a lil bit and did no damage?
