Hood Idea! Check it out
well, you know, except for the 91-92 shark nose and all it looks really good
nah it looks great and i wish ascd would wise up and make one for us 'bird owners =/
(if that were a fiberglass scoop, how much would one pay in bodywork just to get it stuck on there and functional, not incl. paint ?? )

Not quite the right angle with the two pictures, so the Inlet is set too far back. Got any more pics of the car I could try it on? This one is too wide at the back, and not far enough forward.

I think it looks pretty good, but it doesnt match the body lines or anything.

Take a look again. They all angle in toward the nose. Plus its very angular, like the thirdgen body is. I think the lines match up fine.
As for the SS hood on a firebird, I guess that makes since if you're **** like that

Looks alright, but I'm with Mark. SS hood for Camaros, RA I and II hood for Birds.
I think it would look best with the 91-92 Styling, since the car is more curvey.

I think it goes with the lines very well...may not look right on a pre-91 bird, but to me it goes far better than the popular RA II hood or anything else available for the cars. It goes with a 3rd gen bird far better than a 3rd gen Camaro, too.
I for one would welcome more hood designs for these cars...

I see your guy's point on SS's for Camaros and Ram Air's for Firebird, but I have seen plenty of Camaro's with Ram Air hoods. So if we can't use yours, you can't use ours either
J/K I don't think it looks too bad, but Ram Air's are definately better

Personally I dont think it would match up right on a pre 91-92 nose. If I get some better shots of the SS hood I could try some more chop shop jops on it but as of now I dont have any angles that work. The job I did on mavericks car doesnt do it justice because the angles are off quite a bit.
It is kind of like how I dont think the Ram Air II looks silly on a 91-92, but looks good on a pre 91-92. The cars have a different nose and ground effect that totally changes the look of the car.
