I think that looks awesome. Kinda gives me an idea of what my RS will look like when I'm done. Deep dish 18" wheels tucking!!

Is anyone able to identify those wheels? The car is just awesome!

I want to know what other deep wheel 18's there are if anyone has any links or names...

Looks like it's sitting pretty low. Wonder how much of a drop that is.

Looks cool though.

I don't care for it, lowered too much, with too big of wheels. And I don't care for the front grille stuff.

I agree with Mark, too. In my opinion, it takes a lot of ingeniuity and clean customization to make something look better than stock. That car just doesn't look smooth to me.

Does anyone know what kind of motor work is done to it? Where did you find it? I too think it looks too low for a street car! Still kinda nice though. And what is that on the sail panel? I was thinking of painting mine black like the 4th gens but it would've looked wierd when it was done.

I've seen that car around for the last few years

That is a vinyl phantom top and the car has hydros. It also has a black and blue tweed interior , awesome stereo install, and shaved door handles. It used to be a lowrider with the wire wheels, fender trim, etc...but now it looks awesome I think.

I forgot about the grill. I like it, but if it was angled down the center then it would look much better since it would much with the anle of the car.

Low Camaro, could you give me info on the camera please? I am looking in to this since lately there have been a bunch off "odd" things happening to peoples cars around me. I do not want to be a "helpless" target. If i can't catch them red handed, i sure as hell want the next best thing. Any help would be great on the camera idea! Thanks man, and if you see your friend, tell him that car is done to the titz! later-Bryan

Go to any of those electronic stores in the mall and they will sell the small video cameras that you can use for a in-store surveilence system....

You will then need to cut a circle hold in the rear of your car.......Connect the power to your battery through a fuse and a toggle switch......You can then connect the video cable to a TV monitor or VCR whichever you choose......

Simply flick on the toggle switch and the camera will power up and start sending the image to the TV/VCR and then you can view the back..........

Also you need mount the camera in a waterproof set-up that can support it. You can then video tape the entire night and view it the next morning....

Thanks Flynlow! I figured you may post a reply to my ?. I do not see a problem with having that extra weight in my car. I figure, if you run low 12's, high 11's all day in street trim, there should be no reason that having a TV/DVD set up in your car is "rice", or gay. I would like to hook up my PS2 to it too but first thing is first and i need to get the motor in first, then worry about security! Are there any web sites you have come across with this done or detailed instructions? I see it done on imports all the time at the "better" car shows. Any one else? Thanks again-Bryan

i talked to a guy at an import show........

It's a fairly cheap mod the cameras are usually less then $200.......

Also instead of building a new support or signal you might want to look into that black area on our tailights, that could work as the housing.....

The following link shows the camera mounted outside, but you can easily see how to mount it so only the "eye" can peek trough the hole you cut....

I can't believe no one noticed the watermarks all over that picture that are giving the blue that two-tone look. How lame.

I can't see **** as far as the watermarks go! If anything it is someone's logo imbeaded in the picture for copyright purposes! I can not see any watermarks. LowCamaro, is there any way to find out the specifics on that camera set up? I would be very grateful! Do you see him anymore or no? Please, more info! Thanks for your time-Bryan

I found that pic on dizzystar.com which is an import website from BC.

I also know it had wires on it because I've seen that car around for the last 7 years.

You hit the nail on the head my friend.
It defies logic to assume what looks good on one kind of car will look good on any car. The padded top for instance; sure, it looks okay on a Town Car or a Caddy, but not on a Camaro...come on! And extreme lowering is fine for a custom pickup truck or sixties era Impala done up in the lowrider style, but again, not on a third generation Camaro for crying out loud.

I dont see a problem with lowering a 3rd gen to the extreme. Sure hydro's and airbag's aren't made for racing, those would be for show only. But if a Camaro is dropped properly for racing and you can adjust it extremely low for shows, and then adjust it back to driveable specs after the show, I dont see anything wrong with that.

Nothing wrong, but I think people would assume they don't adjust it for shows and races.

Since the beginning, lowriders have been built using sixties era two door sedans and coupes. In like manor, Camaros have always been a staple of the go-fast-in-a-straight-line crowd. To intermix the two is just like what the kids today are doing when they take an economy car like a Civic and try to pass it off as a performance car. In my humble opinion, making a Camaro into a lowrider is just as tasteless as making one into a six-wheeled pickup truck. In life, some things have a purpose to them, and when that purpose is bastardized the results are seldom a success in the eyes of anyone other than the creator of said bastardization.

In my humble opinion, making a Camaro into a lowrider is just as tasteless as making one into a six-wheeled pickup truck. In life, some things have a purpose to them, and when that purpose is bastardized the results are seldom a success in the eyes of anyone other than the creator of said bastardization.
I kind of agree. I dont like Camaro's made into true lowriders with wire wheels, ragtop, and all that stuff. Camaro should go fast, or at least look fast. But in this pic you have a Camaro with some nice wheels (not wire wheels) that could pass for performace oriented. So he choose hydros to lower the car, and he obviously attends shows. I still dont see aything wrong with that. I wouldnt personally do it myself, but choosing hydros or airbag supension (like someone else on this board) is perfectly acceptable for people who want extreme lowering for shows. To get that mean stance. For me personally, I would choose a true racing setup with adjustable springs that I could adjust for shows. In fact, thats how I pla to do it. But I only choose that route because I want to race the car as well as show it. If I was building a Camaro purely for show I would look into airbag suspension.

Well, when you get right down to it, it's all based on opinion. Mine will never match yours, and vice-versa. All I'm trying to say is that to a true Camaro enthusiast, that look is just not right on any Camaro from any year. You would never try to adapt the fairings from a sport bike onto a Harley Fat Boy would you? They are two different bikes that serve two different purposes.
