Pics of my first car

Used a friends camera today to take some pics of my car, pretty much stock, for now, needs new paint and the rims polished which will be done after winter. What do you all think?

the previous owners tried and failed at painting the wheels, and only did one centercap

Overall nice car. You have a few minor things to take care of, but don't most of us.

I don't think 4th gen wheels go good with 3rd gen bodies. Otherwise, very nice.

Hey JimmyG, Is your car a 1LE car? You have a AC delete box and pulley setup. If your car is truly a 305, then it is not. I am just curious. Check your front calipers when you get a chance. If they are dual piston PBRs, you have a 1LE car and you have a 350, not a 305.

No my car is not a 1LE, oh how I wish it was though

Funny Story though, about 1 month after I bought my car, I saw a 1LE the same year as mine, 305, 5spd, red, and in better condition as mine for the same asking price as mine was, I **** myself for not waiting.

From pedastal to pedastal it's 16in

Future Plans?, Oh Yeah to many to list, but for next year it's just repaint it red, polish the wheels (with new center caps), and upgrade as much of the suspension as possible.

I painted them, I don't like amber I think it's one of the ugliest colors I've ever seen, I also changed my front turn signals to clear blubs, all I need now are clear side markers.

Car looks great, lots of potential. I also really like what you did with the tail lights. What kind of paint did you use? I would like to try and do this myself. Thanks

Thanks everyone for the compliments

mettalicirocz - No they aren't siamesed, but I have plans one it though

Riggs58 - I can't remember the brand of paint I used but it was transparant candy apple red, use search there are plenty of threads on this (although I got the idea to do it before I saw it on here)

Azure - I never even thought of that , thanks I'm gonna do that as soon as I can

yeah man looks great. you really need to do something about that one wheel though. its like britney spears with a zit on her nose. lol it just kinda takes away from the natural beauty. other than that its a sweet ride. im undecided about the taillights though, i have the original amber on my 85 iroc and i love it. i think it somehow makes it look more like an original muscle car. then again i dont have grids.........

jimmy G,

nice car man, but where are you getting the dough for all your future plans. I know this Camaro was my first car 3 years ago and for a while I had troubble just keeping it. Let alone getting a paint job. But thats cuz i paid for everything.

I just keep tellin' her "some day i will make you the kind of car you ought to be, so hang in there."
