ram air II on formula

I have seen them on trans ams and I think they look good. Will they look good on a formula? Does anybody have a pic of one on a base firebird or formula? Thanks

I'd like to see this too.

I think my goal is to have my red Formula with a Ram Air II, 4th Gen wing, and lowered. But I wanna see how it looks first.

That looks pretty good! Does any one have pics of one on a formula from an earlier generation? I'd like to see one with a fourth gen wing as well.

I never thought the Ram Air II hood would look good on a Formula, but that picture proves me wrong.

Not a formula, but it will give you a good idea of a 91-92 ram air II bird. I really like this car though it's not mine...

I didn't think the Ram Air II hood could look good on a Formula but it does. I think The Ram Air I Hood looks nicer with a Formula because it fits the smooth look of the car better, IMO. The Ram Air II hood is only manufactured by one manufacturer GT AUTO but sold by many different vendors. It won't matter what place you buy from its all the same hood. We have a Ram Air II hood at the shop and yes it does need a lot of work to make it fit correct but if you want the look you can't avoid it.

I'm pretty sure US Body makes a Ram Air II hood like that one. I don't know if their template for the hood is any better though.

I got that pic a LONG LONG time ago...probably back in 2001 sometime, like when I first registerd. Back then...it was only made by US Body and not GT Auto...in fact....GT auto was just making GTA replacement spoilers and you COULD get a deal by telling them you heard about it at Frankie's site...but that has all changed.

So yeah...that's a US body hood.

Geez, I won't be buying any US Body parts then. If I bought a hood and it was that crappy, i would return it. I hate aftremarket body pieces which don't line up.

.... it seems as though the gap in the front of the hood is a common thing

What about a pic of a bird before 91? I have seen a Ram Air I, but I have thought about a II hood. Any pics?

The latch is too long..
The spring was cut to get it down that much, and the body shop told me any shorter and the latch wouldn't work..

I remember that picture from way back. The guy said that when the body shop painted it they baked it, which caused the fiberglass to warp.
