I have found a good deal on a hood like this(without the hood louvers) for my formula. Would it look good? Has anybody done this or have a pic of one? Thanks

 

I think that hood looks dated and will make your car look older. I have seen it Firebirds and I don't think it improves the appearence. The twin turbo hood is dated too, but it looks better on birds than the Daytonna one. I would prefer the Formula hood over either of them.

 

Don't use that hood. The reason you can get a good deal on it is because no one wants it. I call it the white trash hood.

I believe it consists of trans am ground effects but extended alittle bit.

Yea thats called a Daytona, it was used back in the late 70's and early 80's on some custom corvette's. The original was a turbo type hood that also had places cut out for cooling the turbo. It is out dated, but if you like it, more power to you....

IMO, that hood spoils the lines of the car. If you get that hood, however, go ahead and grow the ****** to match it...

 

I hope people don't look at me as a ******* because I have that hood.....hehehe That was not the look I was going for.

do you think you could try put the turbo one on it? I always wondered what it would look like on a formula.

 

Hey GTA....that firebird looks to much like a mustang with a turbo hood for some reason...with those gfx and hood it looks sort of like a guy i knows mustang...maybe im just to tired but i hate those turbo hoods....cowl or SS all the way.

 

Ijust got it for my car, some people say it only looks good in black... i think it looks pretty sweet!
