Holloween Thirdgen: The Wildest, Ugliest, Wierdest Thirdgen Concept!!!!!!!!!

Before any of you guys say anything, I did this idea just for fun, since it is around the time of Holloween. I like different ideas and concepts, but this one, even I have trouble looking at, even though I created it. NO, I would never do anything this wild to any car.

By the way, I could have made this thirdgen way more bizzarre looking, but some of you would go insane, especially those who preffer subtle mods.

I dare anyone to actually like it.

This is the kind of idea that I often have, but not a single person sees it, and it remains hidden in a folder. Sometimes I just like to scare myself.

Give me a sec to resize the pic.

Sorry about the wait, I have this obsession with high quality pics. I wanted to show it as big as possible on the highest resolution.

If I became a millionare, I would open up my own thirdgen shop just for thirdgens and make ground effects and body mods and parts just for thirdgens - even if the buisness doesn't make any money.

devian i gotta ask you, do you have like a premade .psd or something with the "base" of a car drawn out, and then you modify it, or do you start every pic from scratch.... if you do have one, can you show me it so i can fool around too...

I did a couple of drawings for Steve Cauffiel and yes I did have a base for his car to make quick changes. Most of them are just redrawn from previous drawings. You would be surprised at how fast I can do these. The only time consuming part is comming up with a "good looking" idea. I even have a photoshop layer where I have a selection of wheels, lights, and backgrounds, which makes the process go a lot quicker. I do a lot of compound layers for these drawings in photoshop.

Here is how I start them.

1. I find a pic of a car, front and back usually
2. I print them out
3. I trace the basic outline to the car to with a light table to get
the right angles and perspectives + it is easier than just
drawing it completely from scratch, which I could do if I wanted
4. Make whatever changes I want to the body
5. Ink the final pencil drawing with a .5 size pen
6. Scan the inked drawing into photoshop
7. Make layers of the drawing
8. Open my wheels and lights document and paste the
neccessary wheels and lights on (drawing those by hand to
look realistic takes me a long time).
9. Color it, do gradient fills on the windshield and mirrors.
10. Add a background - combine visible layers

That is basically how I do most of my drawings. With Steve's, I only had to draw part of the car and merge it with the base psd. drawing.

LOL. I have for the longest time been looking for a valid reason to add so many vents in a thirdgen. I have this thing about being hot - I don't like it. I don't think my car would like to hot either. The front end of my car has about 8 vent cutouts in it, as oppossed to 0 on a regular Firebird, unfortunately, not a single one of those vents lets air get to the engine bay.
