Track looks a tad wet, they let you race??

well, it had been raining all morning, and they used the jet dryer to get it dry, i normally can get myself into the low 16's...i ended up running a consistant 17.5 that day, and another camaro buddy ran a 19 his first run in his iroc, and big al ran a 17.5 i think...not to good of a day, but it was the RIP Xenodrgn thing, the week after he left us, so it was more for the thought than the race

really a day to work on Reaction Time...i pulled .533 avg that day...

 

i raced at E town raceway park and believe it or not thats how the track looks dry.

 

yea it is a surprisingly slick track...it was also an overcast day so the track mighta reflected some of that

 

nice hole shot photo. nice car too. what mods do you have.

 

higher stall, wires cap rotor, cool air, chip, flowmaster, rockers...abunch of other little things...3.73 w/ posi rear *cha-ching*

 

looks like good old times at the track regardless of the weather..

Hell yeah I love seeing Thirdgens @ the Track! Got more pix? So there is a Blackbird around here.....wonder if someone took the name Bluebird yet. If you havent registered and R reading this TAKE That name if you have a blue bird.

well, i usually run low 16s, but that day my dial in was 17.5....its ok, the LS1 will make up for the slowness.
86IROCNJ - im located bout 20 mins from the Brunswick area, it takes me an hour to get to e-town...we should definatly meet up

 

Next spring i am down with anything! It should be running smoothly by then. Later

 

i was also thinkin more along the lines of hangin out too...

if u guys ever go to e-town all together make a post about it. i live about 20 min. from there and i have a few friends with 3rdgens that all race. they always have impost vs. domestic there so we should definatly meet up on one of those and kick some ricers @ss

 

well as of the 17th, they are closed for afew months, but there is always Island Dragway and Atco

 

oh yea i meant next spring. e-town is almost done for this year so theres nothin good til spring. but if u go to atco still make some posts to get people to go.

 

yea that would be cool to get a little TGO met at e-town, i hope to be running faster then that 16.00 i ran on the 3rd. im about 45 mins from e-town

 

I'll post something in the NE section of the boards! I'll have to make a few runs first though so i do not look like a total *** in front of everyone! LOL Yeah, ET is pretty much done for the year. I believe all they have now are trophy races and if it is anything like last year, what a joke! Most of the cars are imports racing for trophies running 15's and up! My friends go to that. I don't even bother, waste of time. Not like i could go anyway. The car is not running. Hopefully i plan on going to Atco for a few runs this winter if its nice. There is a thread about it in the NE seaction. Talk to you later
