velcro?

i'm going to install a LeBra on my car to protect the front end for the winter time. After reading the instructions, it mentions that you have to put adhesive velcro onto the area in front of you headlights and directionals (firebird). Will this do damage to my car when I want to remove it after the winter? Any help will be appreciated.

That bra is going to damage your paint after any time spent on the car.

only people that use bra's (on their cars) are those who's paint is severly damaged already.

if you value your paint in anyway shape or form you'll steer clear.

I agree with the others. I have removed alot of bras in my career and amost all of them created lots of paint damage from the bra itself rubbing constantly on the paint. If you are worried about stone chips and stuff, do you drvie the highways alot? What about using that plastic adhesive wrap they use to put on the bottom of quarter panels to keep rubber and stones from damaging that area a the drag strip. Trouble is I am not sure where to buy it. Anyone????

Don't put a bra on, especially for winter. Salt will get stuck in there and mess up your paint.

I had a bra that came on my Eclipse when I bought it. I was afraid of the same thing, as the bra had been on the car for a long time. After I took the bra off and washed the nose it was in mint condition. Shortly after having it removed I noticed little chips forming from driving on sandy highways.

I think as long as you get a high quality bra and JUST use it in the winter it's not a bad idea. Just be sure to take it off and wash underneath every now and then...

Its just that water and stuff will get trapped under the bra, especially dirt and little rocks and stuff.. Then when the bra moves.. the rocks move with it and well, you get the picture.. I would just use a bra to cover up a dent or something

Only problem I had with mine is that the hood section tore off at 115mph...whoops.

I used to think bra's trashed cars and looked ugly as hell, but after having mine and noticing a lot of chips and scratched on my hood developing AFTER I took it off, I'm starting to think otherwise. I would never keep it on all year 'round (unless the front of my car was trashed), because what's the point of protecting the nose of the car if you're never going to see it anyway? But I don't think it's such a bad idea just in the winter and maybe spring before they clean up the roads.

In response to the original question, I would NEVER stick velcro on my car. Anything adhesive enough to hold a piece of leather onto your car at highway speeds is going to mess up your tape coming off. The bra I have for my Eclipse clips onto the car itself with no adhesives...
