Think my car would look ok with one?

I've got the new super clear r-icer hood on the car right now. How's it look?

 

c'mon Zeph......you've had like 5 sets of rims. You too poor for the RA hood now?

I'm sure any hood will look good on your ride. Just look at all the pre 85 transams with the powerbulge hood. Gorgeous.

 

I think it would look great, go for it. I like that clear hood you have now too BTW :lala:

And I had 7 sets of rims, to be exact, but who's counting.

 

What happened to the white GTA hood with the one sided flame job?

I sold my power bulge hood for 400 bucks. My RA hood only cost me 460 or so, then paint.

So I got it pretty damn cheap.

I guess selling it to a guy with a white firebird helped me get the 400 dollar mark.

I think you should save your money and get the RA hood you will be happy with then get something that you will end up getting rid of later anways. Itll save you money in the long run.

 

Yeah I agree, you should wait it out and get something you'll keep.

 

Well, it's $40 and it's black already. I think I could get $40 for my T/A hood, don't you think?

 

i like the no hood look

 

I like the power bulge hood, but I guess I'm kind of partial since my car was the first third gen to have =)

 

I don't think the power bulge would look good with the ground effects, spoiler etc..
but if it's only 40 bucks, it may be worth a try

 

Well, we'll see on friday (if it's not raining) how the hood looks on the car.

I was more interested in the 62 Impala across the street in your first picture. I love 62's. My other project is a 66 Caprice.

i dunno, zeph. something tells me that i like the t/a hood.

something tells me to agree with what adam and metalli say and hold out for a hood that you know for sure you'll keep.

something else tells me to go with the black buldged(sp?) hood.

i'm leaning more towards just holding out until you get something you know you'll keep, but i do believe that either of the two hoods will look well on your car.

 

Well, I am probably going to fix up the Firebird I have in the backyard a little bit, so I plan on putting the T/A hood on that as well as my old fenders. That is going to be my beater car.

 

Ok, I put the hood on tonight and it looks very nice on the car. Will have some pictures of it tomorrow.
Car is now only 2 colors with a little bit of primer on the fender.

 

The car in front of the '62 looks like a karman ghia. Is that a gtp across the street???
