(sorry for those of you with dial up, i tried to downsize 'em, but they still weigh in @ 100-200k apiece; i took 35 shots, i'm gonna limit myself to posting 6)...btw-that craptacular looking building in the back of the last pic is my dorm

hey guys, thanks for the compliments.

formul8, yeah, i usually make a drive through there once per week when it's going. my friends arent exactly car guys, so i really havent had much chance to check everything out.

i've checked out the mfba a few times, and even posted there a little bit about a year or two ago, and still check out the classifieds. i was considering joining, but i wasnt sure how active i'd be. also, it seemed like a lot of the ppl there were a bit older than me (18). and, performance wise, my car isnt anything special right now. i dont really wanna do too much with the 305TBI, but can't afford a 350 right now, and need it to stay reliable through college.

Damn! that makes me want to paint my car black. Well I cant do that because I would have to change my name here. Woulnt be fun trying to get to that post count again. I wish I could see a better pic of your car. Right now I'm at work with a pc that displays terrible rez. But I can still see the car is a shining black. Ever think about red trim? That would be my theme if I had a black car.

Looks really nice, I usually don't like that hood but it looks good on the 91/92's. I like the rims as well.

Have you checked out the Chicago 'burbs regional board lately? We're planning a Memorial Day gathering in Crete and everyones welcome to come.

Black Bird,

I have a set of Formula rims in good shape with 255/50/16 BFG ZR tires for sale. They would look great on your 'bird.

$325 for all, including lugs, caps, etc. I live in Bartlett.

83tranzam, they're the SLP take-off wheels from a new firebird. with spacers and everything, it came to $950 (the tires alone go for ~$800 new). and the tires really are as close to new as you can get. the nubs werent even worn off the tread blocks!

formul8, i wanted those rims so bad, but couldnt find anybody selling a set when i was looking around, esp at a price like that. if i didnt still have like 70-80% tread on my current set, i'd jump all over yours. i'm still tempted, to have a nice extra set, but the wallet is nagging, telling me i need books for next semester more than another set of wheels ... good luck selling 'em.

and bubbakutz, i'm pretty sure the tips are 2.5" each.
