This is my formula project, just thought i'd share my good luck with you. LOL, i bought this car for $325, changed the oil and swapped the old gas for new and drove her home, (sideways of course!!!!) Supposedly has only like 40,000 on the engine/tranny she runs really, really good for a 305tbi/auto.

I've already put a set of old torq-thrust?? I'm thinking maybe 200S's? wheels on her. I'm not doing too much more over the winter other than accumulate parts to do my project. I putting a Trans-Am front clip on with full T/A ground efx and rear bumper. I am going to change the interior color to light grey with 4th gens seats and console. I am getting a set of 16x8 black crosslace gta's for her

. I am making a "sunday driver" out of this car so I am going to leave the engine pretty much stock other than delete the smog pump, full 3in exhaust with headers and borlas, and lt1 cam. probably 3.42's maybe 3.73's I am also doing a manual swap to a 5spd (305 shouldn't kill it) . I have just run across sucha good deal I can justify modding it the way i desire.

Sorry for the long post! post your opinions on my thoughts thanks, brad

TorchRay, yes the 91-92 formula's are hard to come by around here. I'll keep you guys posted. Hopefully it comes out well. I've weighed my costs on fixing this one up VS. buying a decent trans-am, and i still think i'm going to do it just because the formula runs so good. thanks for the support

I have a set of formula rims and tires for sale. The rims have no scrapes and the tires are good. They are 255/50/ZR16 BFG's.

I am asking $325 for the set with lugs, lug covers and centercaps.
I live in the Chicago area.

That's a pretty good deal on that set of rims, but i just got rid of my originals. I just don't like the style of them, wanting some gta's. Thanks for the offer. brad
