3rd gen Formula pic's with Intrax lowering springs

Got some new pic's of my Formula 350 with the new suspension and Intrax springs. It does seem to be a bit lower than before, with the Jamex springs. Still not as low as others with the same springs. I'm beginning to think there is an assembly tolerance of the k-member on these cars, and the same spring in different cars will produce different results.

Anyhow, I'm satisfied with the stance of my car with the Intrax and as a bonus they control the car really well.

I like I like I love the stance and tire to fenderlip gap. I hope my SC will drop down like that when I do my suspension upgrade.

Your ride is killer man. The wheels don't do much for me, but it's still looks mean as hell.

Now.... go tear up some imports at an AutoX, show them what domestics can dish out....

Looks awesome. Are they the AFS black ZR-1 rims? I think they look really good with the blue paint.

Little too low for me, and i'm still not diggin the black rims, but super clean non the less. What are you doing with your old Jamex springs? I've been wanting to drop my car for awile now, so if you're looking to get rid of them cheap I might be interested.

Tom, what are your impressions of the car's handling compared to the Jamex springs?

I have been leaning towards the Hotchkis and Bilstein combo, but that looks perfect.

Tom, Please give us a comparison between the two. Also, what shocks/struts are you using?

Looks great!

I saw a picture of your formula with the zs's but they weren;t painted. What size were they? 16 or 17?? I have a white formula and I wunt 16 inh rims cause i have 4 brand new 16 inch tires and i liek to do burnouts and 17 inch tires are really pricey.

I love the color. I LOVE the rims. And i love the stance. I am not a fan of thirdgens without GFX though. Other than that, that is one sweet *** car!

I have the same springs in my Formula and I think my car is lower than yours. My kmember actually hits the ground on some roads. Im currently building a 88 firebird into a TA clone, and plan on useing the springs out the Formy in it. Im going to have to drive very carefully not to rip the nose off the new car.

i love the stance and i love the treatment with the wheels (painted spokes, polished lip). did u paint them yourself? if you did, what kind of paint and how many coats did u use? i've always wanted to have either roh zs's or maybe even firehawk wheels painted like that (maybe in charcoal, though). well, anyway... sweet ride!
