FBodFather loved the 88
Last night we met Scott Settlemire "FBodFather" and a few other SS people for a few hours of Camaro talk. Scott is a great down to earth guy and could talk endlessly about his passion for the Camaro. We even got him to sign the car. Here's a few pics. He was speechless when he saw "Fatal".....

Glad you got to meet him and show him your work of art!

Can't wait to see your car there!

I'd love to meet Scott S. I've talked with him online on occasion.
who is Scott S.? i assume he is pretty well-known for his love of camaro's. but what is he part of and how is he known?
BTW, fatal, i hope you were by your car at all times, wouldn't want to get towed for parking by a no parking sign in first pic

Yes, and he will be managing Camaros again in a few years.
I just hope he puts the Z28 back as the top model where it should be and does the 5th Gen right unlike the 4th.

Scott Settlemire is the Fbodfather. He is the Corvette/Camaro Brand Manager for Chevrolet. He has traveled extensively around the country to Camaro shows meeting people and sharing his enthusiasm. He has also taken the passion and enthusiasm that the "normal joe" have for the Camaro to the higher ups in GM. It's because of him, that the bean counters know we Camaro followers exist. He is a part of Save The Camaro (www.savethecamaro.com), Camaroz28.com and Worldwide Camaro Assc. He was also the guy that got the Legends Tour put together and got the approval for the $1000 Legends Tour certificate (to buy a new Camaro cheaper)
He will be in St Louis tomorrow night and I plan on meeting up with him and the guy that maintains the Pace car registry for many years of Pace cars.

You be happy to know that I met with Scott last night in St Louis and he was talking to the group about this absolutely awesome 88 Camaro he saw in Houston!!!! I told him that I saw pics of him with the car on this website already.

I'm getting the satin centers and 18 and 19's. They should be here in time for the slp day in Ennis. I have my wife's SS wheels on for now. Already sold my Z06 wheels.

I met Scott Settlemire a couple years ago when he brought a 2000 Police car to our show. We were at the track racing the friday before the show & Scott showed up Ready to race that police car. Damn to bad it ended up being a rain out that night.
Anyways we all went out to dinner that night & talked. Hes a great guy & Very well liked around our car club. (He gives Great hugs as well lol
)
Since there is no longer a Camaro brand (for the time being) he is part of the GM High Performance group. Working to bring us cars such as the Pontiac GTO, The V8 RWD Monte, The Camaro back & other fun loving sports cars we love to drive.
If you alreay met him you know that his love for the cars we drive has been the driving force for us one day getting them back.
If you have not met him make sure you get a chance. He will answer ALMOST any questions you have about the camaros. (just dont ask him when they are coming back)
I look forward to seeing him again. & Talking to him.
