Im running 275/40/17s all around and the fronts do rub a bit at full lock in either direction of the steering wheel. The rear isnt exactly centered as large bumps bring the rear pass side wheel lip down slicing my rear tire, I think if I center it better itll fit no problem or roll the wheel well lip to help keep the tires safe...

That would be a lot of tire for an 8 inch rim. I must be looking at too many imports because I think 245s on an 8 inch rim are already big enough. I wouldn't go any larger than 275.

i thought the question is what size tire can you fit.........not what size rim.
obviously if a 8 is stock an 8 will fit. i wouldn't go any larger than a 255 and then i'd stick with a 45 or smaller profile to keep the stock 245/50 look.
anyone who puts a 275 or even a 295 on a 8" rim is a little off their rocker.:lala:

275 is width
35 is the percent of the width applied to the sidewall
18 would be the size of the rim
h,r,z,w,y are all ratings for speed....
mine are 275/35/y18 which is good for 180+
the rears are 295/35/y18 which is also good for the 180+ range
