you probably need new bushings... check the tech articles on the home page. i think it tells you how to fix it there.. if not, i would just take the door off and check for bad spots, such as rust, and fix it.

from what i hear at some body shops-the easiest way is to get under your door and lift it a bit w/ your hands-

i dont think that would help if the bushings are ****ed... if you live near an Applied industrial Technologies building or a Bearing and Transmission you can get a bushing to replace the existing one for a dollar... i wokr there. i know

that **** works if your car needs it. Don't gripe until you try it.

But hey, I bought it thinking my doors needed it...turned out my doors were just sagging (the pins and bushings weren't out). I took it to the body shop and the guy fixed it in 5 minutes with a big pry bar looking tool. so now I've got a set of these things I paid 125 bucks for....and can't use them.

Well, $150 per door (2 kits needed per door if I read correctly)...that's $300 for both doors... Or am I missing something?

Ouch!

I'm pretty sure I need 'em since my car doors 'bounce' as they are closed...feels like slop in the bushings to me.

nah - the price for them is like 75 each. That comes to a total of 150. I got in on a group purchase way back when.

hey if you want these things, email me and we'll work a deal. I have to pay for a ticket I just got.

Mine?

I'm pretty certain. If you lift on the door, it moves pretty easily.

I was talking about rockfourone. Because I have the same problem with my 82 pace car & its jsut pens & bushing problems just have to get out there to do the work since I have everything here to do it.
