Defroster Grid

I'm planning on tinting my window's soon, however I have the back hatch glass defroster grid on my car. What do guys think of that? Should I remove it or keep it on when I tint....and if I want to remove it how would I go about doing that...Thanks

If you never use it, your tint job would look alot better if you remove the grid. To remove it you could use a razor blade and scrape it off.

Does the tint affect the defrostability? I mean, does the defroster still work with the tint on?

I have had tint on my hatch since July, using the defroster has yet to harm it. I kinda wish it would harm it, cause I want to remove the tint to get it redone anyway.

if you do a search on the tint removel subject there are a few good threads that tell in detail how to remove it with just amonia spray and heat from the sun and then pealing it off all togeather.

I don't mean the tint....as my original post wasn't to remove the tint, but rather the defroster grid.
