Well here is the situation with the rims.......I have $450 spent on adapters for the rims, so if i sell them, i'm stuck with adapters i can't use, and therefore i loose $450, which to me is a big chunk of change, so therefore i can't get new rims, but then again i like the ones i have now.......so the rims are gonna have to stay......they are a love it or hate it kind of rim.....plus they have brand new tires on them, so maybe once the tires are gone and i have some money laying around, i would think about 18" IROCS, but for the time being, the rims are staying....
I'm gonna attempt to do the Silverado headlight conversion, still gotta do some more reading about how to do it,i do have the mounting figured out for it though.....
New paint job
SS Hood
Headlights
Billet Grille
2" Lowered
Removed factory spoiler
Shaved Antenna
Fender Vents
Clear sides/fronts
Shaved Emblem
Shaved Door handles

Picture is really dark. I really can't see anything but the rims. Everything else kinda blends in. Can you lighten the picture up some. Oh, and by the way. What is so bad about the rims. I kinda like them.
stick with the stock lights and different rims and ure set. I think its your car though and you shouldnt worry about what other people think. do what you like cause its ure car and u'll be much happier

I like it, except for the rims. I am a deep dish kind of guy. I could take or leave the 2nd gen 2/28 scoops. I would like to have some vents on my fenders, but I would go with the 80's Aston Martin Vantage style.
I like the Silverado healights because it has a cleaner look to them, even though they possibly may not be an improvement over the stock appearance of the lights. I would do it if I had a Camaro.
Here is a pic of the drawing I made Flynlow92rs's drawing from. This was suppossed to be what my Camaro would look like if I bought one. That is an intercooler in the front and not a billet grill like in Flynlow92rs's.

Looks better with the highrise spoiler, and I would keep original tail lights and loose the side vents. They look kinda weird on there like that. The rims dont look that bad and since you spent 450 for the spacers then I wouldnt even think about canging rims.

...by the view of the picture...I know...it looks like they will not fit......but..they will.....it's just the view. I had to buy the original gaskets for them...and that's what I'm going to use as a template....just enough room for them to sink into place...your open to your opinions....but..I tryed that....it looks really crappy and really odd.......they came factory on the 80-81 Z28.....like that...and they do cool the engine compartment down a lil..they let the hot air escape.......I just think they look 10 times better the way they are supposed to go in....I'm sure if someone wanted too..they could do a photoshop.....

That would look a whole lot better if it was turned the other way making it look like its acutally taking in air. Plus it would be agreeing with the lines of the fender and door gap.

If they were turned the other way, air would be entering into the door and passenger compartment. Those are extractors for letting hot air escape out the side.

If the vents were put on the other side where it sucked out the air and lined up with the gap then it would look better that way. Having it the way he does just makes it stand out really bad.

I think the green one looks smooth, but I would like to see the green one with the blue wing, I like that one better, it just seems to flow better than the green one with the SS hood. The green(92) wing is just a tad short. 'coure I think my 10" wing just kicks butt with the 2" cowl on my hood....the lines/curve matches perfectly.

I like it. And of course I like the rims. Neeper rocks!
I have been debating the fender vents myself. The 80-81 style seem just a bit to big. If Joe and I find some at Pull-a-part we will make a mold and a duplicate and try to fab some cut down fiberglass versions. I like the smaller ones better on Devian's orange version.

'Key, I did a quick PS attempt on those 2nd Gen vents on my car.
I always thought that they would look real good, but now Im not so convinced
Like redraif said, they are kinda too big? And I don't think the scale is too far of
Please excuse that my car looks partially Pink! in these pics. I SWEAR it is red!
Here goes:
Vent the same way as above:

To me....they look fine......they don't look all that big....A buddy of mine installed a set in his 92....and that's why I wanted to do it.....I would get some pictures of it....but..he sold the car. I see it around town every once in awhile though. I wouldn't even attempt it .....if I knew it would look bad...or if they didn't fit....

I like the second pic better, it could possibly fit if you cut a radius in the bottom right hand corner to match up with the fender well lip.

I know what all of you guys are saying..also...the color of your car has a big part to do with it too. My car is black....so...to tell you the truth...at a distance...most people won't even notice them...but...it's cool to see how they will look..from everyones point of view. I'm doing it no matter what
....one thing that will have to be done will be to shave the back about 1/4 inch..the actual louver part that dips into the fender...if its not shaved...it wil hit the fender supports...and it will not sit flush with the fender....if noones knows what I'm talking about..I Can get a couple pictures if you want......I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures of it when I install them.

Why does everyone hate his rims so much? I think they are cool looking. Besides I get tired of seeing the same rims over and over on Camaros and Firebirds. I love the projector headlights to.

I think you should take them off and get rid of them. I could take them off your hands
No, really I like them. Don't know why everyone has a problem with them. As far as the spoiler goes, I like it at the front quarter view, but from the rear and side it looks kinda out of place. I am sure it would grow on me. Nice work man.

Being honest, I probably wouldnt pick those rims if it was my car, but thats the way it should be, different taste is good, but even though I wouldnt pick them, I still like those rims alot, it goes with the scheme well. The only 2 things on your car that drive me insane has to deal with the back of the car. First is your spoiler. It looks good from the front/side angle, and the side but the straight shot from the back, it just screams... well ****, and last even more than that, get some nice tail pipes! I dont know if its the tips or that there hanging too low, fix them man! Other than that everything looks great! Love the hood, like the side scoops, rims are great, keep up the good work man
