I was woundering, why I never see anybody with this color of car? This is the closest i could find to being my car. The paint is "Bahama Blue." (it is a stock color) Any reason that I don't see this kind of color on any other camaro?

 

HMmm thats the first time I've seen that color on a thirdgen. Or maybe most just like the darker blue or something. Nice camaro btw

i've never seen a camaro of that color. just about all the ones around here are teal.

maybe its just a color sold in Canada, or out side the US or sompthin? Just not as many.

 

Maybe it was only available in Bahama for the Bahama Mamas?

I like it. I've seen light blue, but nothing quite like that.

Is it me or does it have a purple tinge to it?

There was never a "bahama blue" offered on a thirdgen Camaro... at least not in the US, and I'm not aware of unique export colors.

From 82-84, "Light Blue" was available.
In 82, "Light Jade" was avalable, which might be a blue... I never was much for my box of crayolas when I was a kid.

From 85-88 there was "Bright Blue".

From 89-91 there was once again a "Light Blue" color.

The closest in 92 was "Medium Quasar Blue".

 

I think we are refering to the 89-91 "light blue", but what ever you call it, i agree, it is awesome.

Wasn't it in that Motor oil commercial where the Wife tries to sell the guys RS in a garage sale? She tries to put the sign on the car while the guy is looking through all his stuff she's getting rid of.

Here i looked through all the codes to make sure it was the color i though "22L : SECONDARY COLOR, EXTERIOR BAHAMA BLUE MET" Is this the right color or im i going crazy?:lala:

 

thats a cool color. i have never seen one like that. most of the third gens in my area are primer or rust. so i havnt seen much color on them

 

I think that's just odd lighting on a Maui blue, Camaro 88, same year, maybe 89 also on the Firebird.

 

I saw that commercial!!!! I love that commercial! It is about time a third gen gets R E S P E C T. It was for Valvoline High Milage.

 

My neighbor has that same color on his camaro. His is a '90. I thought he called it coral blue or something like that though. It is the stock paint I know that.

 

i was gonna buy one that color but i passed it by for my 89 purple rs..the blue one was a 88 it was the only one ive seen before though
