IROCs with wide tires

lol, just wanna see what you guys runnin 275+ width tires look like from behind. I'm gonna be needing some 285 minimum on 17" wheels to be able to get traction with my new motor, just wanna see what it looks like! Post your pics!

What kind of power are we talking about? My 245's dont hook worth a crap, and thats with a really mild 350. Maybe 230hp to the ground. I doubt a tire thats a 295 will do me much better, street tires I'm talking about. Why dont you look into some Drag Radials, they might wear faster but you will hook 10 times better.

that was my point basically, you don't put a larger width tire because your car is making say 300 horses. my setup gripped decent with the stock 200 horse l98 but 295's do nothing for 4 times that.

if traction is what you seek then dr or et streets are what you need.

duh people, I'm not getting wide "street tires" or anything for my stock L98, I just wanted to see how some 295s+ look. I already know what I'm gonna need and everything so don't tell me the obvious that I already know just start postin some pics plz, wanna how it would look with like 315s on back. Those are some wide tires, and I wanted to see if they'd stick out of the wheel wells past the fenders,

BTW I'm probably getting 315/35/17 Nittos on some black ZR1s <-- hopefully black ZR1s. Talking about close to 500 RWHP that should handle it.
