Making Posters... need HIGH-RES Pictures!!!

I started making posters again.

I am in search of extremely high-res pictures of camaros. When I say high-res I mean like 1600 pixels in length/width. If anybody has any please either post them or if you can upload them somewhere and give me a link. I much appreciate it.

You want the high res verion of this? I like it too, very good pic. Do I get a poster?

Edit- That pic isn't 1600x1200, it was taken with a film camera not a digital camera. I have one saved on my computer thats 767x411. I have the photo somewhere, I can scan it again but I don't think it will be as big as you need.

yeah that's the picture.

the reason i need high resolution is because if you enlarge a picture it will become grainy. the pixels should be in the 1000s...

i need crisp photos, no engine shots, just exteriors...

Well I scanned it in at the highest quality my scanner could and it is now 6928x4704

Want that one or want me to shrink it?

Do I get a copy of the poster? I'll pay if it isn't too much.

The pic you posted that you said you wanted to print is sweet, but I think the car should be bigger.

Someone please post some pics of 'birds!??!! I would but I don't have any pics that big and I really want a 'bird poster or two. :hail:

Actually this is what the final version of the poster I'm printing tomorrow looks like.

What do you think? I tried to put some... you know... symbolism into the picture.

um... that's messed up dude, your file is screwed up or something

when you open it, and go to image size, it says it's only 2 inches wide because you got some screwed up resolution lol

Would 1600 X 1200 pixels be large enough? Just want to know for future reference because I want to know if someone else could make a poster of my car because by the time I finish building my car, you probably won't be doing posters anymore, and I would really like to have a poster of my finished car.

As for your own poster you plan on printing, it looks good. Personally, I prefer a lot more foliage going on in the background, which is why I am waiting for the leaves to start coming in so I can take some nicer shots.

Easy... just a suggestion: If you're going to call them "posters" I'd really try to make them poster sized, and not the size of 2 sheets of printer paper. If you keep them the same size, call them "prints" or come up with some other sort of name.

I didn't care because I didn't pay for them, but if I paid for those, I would have been pissed when I saw what size they were.

So what size distinguishes between a print and a poster?

The poster I made you like 2 years ago or something was garbage lol. I use the same size paper, but I enlarged the picture to the entire 11.5x17 surface. I also now use glossy paper, and much better quality printing.

As for people being pissed off about the size, I tell them the size before they buy it. Personally I prefer smaller but still large poster "prints" because they are big enough to catch all the detail and small enough to be affordable to frame.

Hey Juicin that would make a great poster if it wasn't for the fact that the blocks were on the driveway. lol.

Thanks for the pictures guys, but honestly I'm looking for something better quality and with nice scenary.
