So due to the april fool's joke that caused havoc on the boards, all the posts that were made in that time period have to be reposted if they can't be read?? ah this is gonna be a pain

I'm pretty sure it was just a script change. Posts from way back are also affected, so I doubt they actually went through the database and randomly replaced some words with 'HITHERE'. Probably some function to randomly insert the word 'HITHERE' randomly in the text when it is sent to the browser.

All they had to do was edit the word filter. The same way cusswords are blocked out. They just configured the boards to change i, a, Mark, Shields, to HITHERE, and Camaro and Firebird to HITHEREHITHEREHITHEREHITHERE, etc.

phew, cuz some of the posts i was reading i was still gettin that HITHERE thing after everyone was posting sayign that it was over, hopefully my eyes were just deceiving me and yes last year's prank was absolutely hilarious
