Pics of My Ride----18" rims.

The car is finnally coming together. I had just washed it the night before, and it had rained the day I took the pictures, so please excuse the grime. The Rims are KMC Condors in 18X8.5 with 275 35 18 Kuhmo 712's and 245 40 18 kumhos out front. I love these rims, I tried to get KMC stealth's but they would have had to special order them. I had never seen these rims before, so I plunked down my 2000$ and now I'm happy. I'm going to get some chrome polish soon, I like the mirror finish. Everybody calls them my mad max wheels with the spike coming out. I'll take a front quarter shot, to show what I'm saying. I can't wait for the stock ***** to complain about my choice.

Here is a shot of the rear meats I love that tread pattern. It rocks in the rain, The roads where I live totally suck and are in disrepair, so when it rains(often) there is plenty of standing water on the highways causeing lots of traction fun, but that rain channel rocks, these things grip so much better than my balding firehawks did

I did this grill mod awhile ago, long before that corny topic about using this ghetto gutter guard from home depot. I made a pattern out of the stock insert out of cardboard. I then got stainless steel diamond mesh, a bit of cutting and folding. I folded the edges over and attached it with bolts in the same holes where the stock insert was. I then installed the liscense plate onto the grill. It cost about 25$ and took mayber 2 hours. The hardest part was cutting the stuff. I dulled a band saw blade cutting out the tabs. Since it's stainless, it doesn't rust like those retarded grills kids make for their body kits.... honda crowd.. I'll take a better picture whith more sun.

here is the other side. They look like black chrome. Yes I know about the dent behind the door. That happened like two weeks after I got this car from the origional owner. I was being mr drifter around my favorite coner, went in too fast, applied too much gas, and caught some gravvel along the way, further reducing traction. I swerved way left then 180 slid into a chain link fence, it folded the quarter and a added some scratched, and made a gouge in the front facia. I was so pissed. I did the basket ball trick inside the quarter panel which helped out a bit (where you put in a deflated ball, the inflate it in side... pushing out the dent) I also fixed the gouge and painted...not a direct match. I hope the get all of the blemishes fixed, with possible a new paint job... Macco style

Usually I would'nt like a Camaro with that large of wheels, but those seem to look pretty good. Your system looks great also. Keep up the good work!

Yeah If I could have fit 20"'s I would, but The guys at america's tire center told me they had put 20" Irocs on a maro once, and it was pretty bad not recomended, the had to cut all of the fender lip off and beat the inner fender well, plus lots of other hacking and sawing. I also wanted a somewhat quality ride. 30 series rubber bands don't cut it. Since I've got the 5L and don't have the resources for a swap, I figured I make it a cruiser. It's my daily driver, I get about 19- 21 mpg in 55%city/ 45 highway driving. But I still whoop on as many lame civics as possible, I got destroyed by a built vette, but I was proud of it. I've been suprised how fast this car can be, when I shift with the mega shifter, I never need to go past 2nd anyway. The r!cer is already behind, ready for a flyby

i think your car kicks ***. the only problem i have with it is the red interior. when you said it had mad max wheels with a spike in the middle of the rim, i was expecting something worse than that. i think your rims look good on your car.

What's wrong with the red interior? I think it looks great!

I don't like the rims that much, too big for my tastes. The grille mod doesn't look too bad and the box looks nice

I don't think 305 Z28 is going to get your message, as he posted this thread in April of 2003, and he hasn't posted at all on this site since then.

You should have put some IROCs on there! Just kidding man, those look great on your car. I think KMC has some really great rim designs.
