Off Topic - Favorite Movie Car?

I know this is off topic a bit, but just thought it would be a nice change of pace.

Anyway, what are your all time favorite movie cars? Any car, real or not, from any movie ever made. Mine are:

-Eleanor ('67 GT500)
-Batmobile ('89... gotta love that BBC sound )

Adam knows from personal experience how pre 60's vehicles can look and sound extremely creepy at night.

Watch closely, they didnt actually crush the formula. I about cried as well the first time, but then noticed the 15" wheels and non wrap around spoiler.

Not sure how I can be a fake owner of a thirdgen.. I sat in my car before you were born..

I know no sense of humor.

Heh posting "OFF TOPIC" in the subject line is like screaming "LOCK ME!!!" to the mods.

The two thirdgens in 8-Mile were nice. Eleanor was cool too.

Triple X with the purple GTO.
Was it a 1967 ?
My dad had one in high school.
Wasn't purple though, it was blue.

I just watched City by the Sea
with Robert DeNiro and James Franco.
There was a thirdgen camaro in a drug deal
scene. I think it was a Z28, it was red with
silver trim.

The Interceptor, in Mad Max 2

The Aston Martins in James Bond's movies from '84 on

The '55 Chevy in American Grafitti

I like Eleanor because when they dubbed the GT500's sound effects for the movie, they actually did not use a Mustang... or any Ford for that matter... it was a '69 Corvette 427 with side pipes

And i forgot about American Graffitti.... i LOVE that Yellow '32 Coupe.

The 55 Chevy from Two Lane Blacktop, bar none...

it was a legitimate 10 second street car, built by Larry Ruth (he's the guy in the Glendale Speed Shop t-shirt at the gas station scene, who says he has a Thames panel). Severly lightened (dropped Econoline axle, no interior except the front buckets, glass front end/doors/decklid), an L88 427 with a Weiand tunnel ram, a 4 speed, and 4.56 gears, lexan windows, and primer...no bs, just a seriously fast 55 Chevy!

BTW its the same car in American Grafitti, only toned down a lot (custom interior, paint, chrome reverse wheels instead of the Americans).

I like the Bandits T/A. I know it's not a movie but the Dukes Of Hazzard Charger is awsome. I like the fastback Stang in the movie Bullit too.

The green '67 from Bullit is my top favorite movie car. I have every size of model of that car I can get my hands on, from 1/64th up to 1/18th.

I was in love with K.I.T.T. as well to carry on the car T.V. show scene once the Duke boys had their way.

Also, can't forget about the simplicity of Jim Rockford's second gen bird...

Ya you both beat me too it I love watching that IROC in that movie and I am pretty sure there is a roll cage in that car. Sweet scenes when it does battle with the monte ss, just to bad it gets trashed and the monte had to bite it.

Also love the cars and trucks in Dazed and Confused.

Hey Air Adam, I don't think they used a vette for the sound effects, I saw a TV show on how they made the movie, and for the sound, they used a big block Cobra...

Others I forgot, but remembered about today in the shower (ain't the bathroom a very philosophical place?)

-Cobras's '50 Merc that somebody already mentioned

-The Lamborghini Countach in Cannonball Run

-The Aston Martin Vanquish and custom Land Rover in Tomb raider (only shown briefly)

-The Mustang in Bullit

-The Hemi Challenger in Vanishing Point

-call me a *******, but when I was a kid, I had a knack for the "General Lee" Charger...they made a movie, so it counts!
