I'm getting my car painted and I'm debating on getting it w/ stripes, or w/out? The only stripes I like are the two fat stripes all the way from the front to back w/ a 1/4 in. stripe on the outsides. How would that look on a ram air hood on a 92 z-28? Can anyone photoshop that? Black car, w/ silver stripes? Thanx, any opinions would help!!!!

I don't have any pic's yet. Could anyone use one from the site? 92 Z-28. I'll have plenty of pic's before, and after the paint job. Right now the car is the "Drk teal Metallic". I may keep that color, but I may also change the color. Depends on if my buddies feel up to painting the engine bay & jambs.

Anything works! I don't think they want to do the whole "different color w/ stripes" thing, I'm upset!!! Anythings better than the delam, paint that peels when you hit 60 that's on there!!! I'll post pic's when it's all done, we just need a booth to shoot it in!!!! I'll be in touch, hopefully the first "teal 92 z-28" to post a ram air hood pic.

 

I always thought if I was going to do the ram air hood thing, I would get the ram air II hood, paint two stripes up the nostrils. My car is dark red metallic, and I would paint the stripes a medium/light grey. Only on the hood and rear deck lid though. I think that would look sweet.

If anyone is REALLY bored and has lots of time on their hands, they could try that for me!?!?!

 

I had stripes on my bird for a while. I just got bored and ripped them off .. plus they didnt match the new wheels. theres pics all over my website with them.
