Any one have a Pre 85 Trans AM?

I want to see close up shots of the front nose for an idea I have?

Also, are the noses with the blank grills attatched seperately like the other 82-84 noses or are they molded to the nose?

teh grills are screwed into the nose and come off...

those vents come right out out they are not molded in, also there is a spot in those vents were u could put a fog like if u want. this is my step dads 84 TA front shot.

Yes, but you need to go in from in behind to get them out.

Heres my 83, not a T/A, but the nose is the same, except for the inserts. My inserts have 6 small phillips screws each, which go in from the front.

Yep six screws, the "non" vented style attach from behind the front bumper. Pain to get off.

Here is the spot on the "vented" one that you can mount a fog light. I did this to my car.

currently the closest one of my car i have, one of the grille covers also says trans am on it, i think they are the best looking front ends on third gens

If not, theres some pictures on my website (link below) that detail how I installed the solid-faced covers after the previous owner took them off. The whole nose should be removed to get access because the solid faced covers install with screws on the reverse side...

never mind u painted them white, how do they look close up, any probelm with paint peeling?? they look good white!

Thanks! No problems with any paint peeling (yet) but white does show the dirt quicker...

This is the closest shot I have of the rims after painting.
