Giving up the Iroc vert

I was talking to a guy yesterday that has a ’88 Vette Convertible and he wants to trade it for my Iroc vert. I’m so tempted of doing it, especially after being sick and tired of trying to make that 305tpi run faster. It only has 2000 miles more than my Iroc has and looks to be in good shape…. I’m really about to do this but at the same time I also think that there has to be a catch here somewhere…. I mean who’s trading a Vette for a Camaro. I really wish I knew what to do… can anyone give me some reasons to stay with the Camaro ?
How do you guys compare the appearance of Fbody drop tops VS. C4 Vettes drop tops ??

PS: sorry didn't know where else to post this

Keep the Iroc-z Convertible, you'll regret it

I'd keep the IROC, it seems like the guy's vette has something wrong with it since he's wanting to get the Iroc vert instead of keeping his vette vert. I'd check it over and nit pick on everything except paint since that can be solved.

Don't know about your part of the world but around here vettes are a dime a dozen, third gen 'verts are fairly rare.
Personally I like both cars, but in my neighborhood my IROC convertible scores way more looks than most Corvettes.

trade for the corvette, and then sell it, and buy a 92 Z convertable

vert corvette will get more money than a vert iroc.

Somethings gotta be wrong with the Vette. If I had a Vette, I wouldn't trade it even for a Camaro unless something was wrong with it. Check the Vette out really good before making your decision.
