And the bad about five minutes ago. Coming hard as hell.
No not snow its hail. My dads riviera ended up having about 20k worth of damage in the big hail storm we had out here like 2 years ago when it was parked at the airport. This is bring back real bad memories.

You need to get one of those 2 vehicle car ports. They cost 595.00 "in Mena AR" to have built and you can get them in about any size you want. I used a 18' X 25' as my car shop and built the next 15' X 18' as my polishing shop. I hate hail, id rather see a monsoon enveolpe my car before she gets pelted with ice cubes.

$20,000 in damage? Did it destroy the entire drive line too? Sounds outrageous to me.

not really

just imagine the cost to repair one small ding. Now multiply that times a thousand. Cost goes up quick, doesn't it

Doesnt it defeat the purpose of a sleeper car if you put a sticker that says "Sleeper" across the windshield???

I lived in Fort Worth for a while and saw what hail can do to cars. Looked like someone took a ball peen hammer to the sheet metal. Maybe someone can post a good pic for those who have to "see it to believe it".

if i was in my house and it started hailing i would brave the damn ice cubes, well maybe wear a pot or something on my head, and go outside and protect my car, get a damn piece of plywood and lay it on top!!

IT is a team the new decals came in today we are no longer team sleeper racing but suicidal racing. The riv with 20k last year had the hood, roof, sunroof, Trunk basically every piece of the body was replaced. tailights, mirrors, headlights it was trashed. Don't seem to have any damage on mine except a paint chip on the roof but it seems fine. Plus the rivieras body work was done at rickenbaugh cadillac and it is flawless.

As soon as we get our extra garage put up i get a spot the problem is we have the 98 riv in the garage cause he's afraid it'll hail again, 34 ford glass body thats not done yet, Elcamino on the side of the house in a makeshift garage, our 81 Z28 is stored in one of those rented garages like uhaul type thing. Luckily my moms **** usually stays outside the suburban cant fit in the garage it's lifted. I park in the driveway but we have this flowering tree thats losing all its flowers and i hate washing them off every hour.
