Here is the situation. Im probably planning on getting my camaro painted this summer. It still has the original paint and it is fading and cracking in some places. My original paint color I think is metallic dark briar brown. If you had this car would you keep it that color or change it and paint it like black. If I paint it black I will probably repaint the interior trim panels black, get black sun visors, headliner, sailpanels, and later on get some black 4th gen seats. Would it look stupid if it was black and had some brown interior? Just wanted to see what you guys think.

I'm not a fan of brown. I would paint it and change the interior too if you have the money.

 

i'd say paint it black, but make sure you get the engine bay and all the jambs painted too.

 

I say keep the brown.
I have never seen a brown third gen in good shape, so it would be kinda nice for a change.

 

Brown=the color of fecal matter. I'd pick another color.

 

so true black is a good color but if you go all black like you want to one it is a bitch to keep clean... two do you know how hot it's going to get inside your car in the summer with the sun beaming down on your car. three do you keep it in a garage because black looks really bad when it starts to fade because of sun damage. white has almost the same problems but it isn't as hot it sux when it fades and it is even more of a bitch to keep clean go with something like a matalic orange or redish orange or something like that.

 

See about another shade of brown, something thats maybe abit more towards orange? Then you'd have something thats close to original and differant. Now if you want to change color, how about a deep metalic blue of some sort? Or maybe a dark cherry red?

 

you could always go if you want to be different do the camilion paint where at different angles it changes colors but pick two colors that go good together that isn't going to look like ****.

 

Don't you want a thirdgen to **** all over **** and rustangs?
