Tropical Gloss Car Wax
Tropical Gloss Car Wax
Hey guys i just finished cleaning up my car because i am headed to the race track tomorrow for the first time with the freshly rebuilt 406 and the new TH350 tranny, hoping to pull off some better times than last time around when the clutch slipped half way down the track. Well i got this wax from work called tropical gloss and it comes in a spray can like a can of spray paint and it is the best stuff that i ever use and i would highly recommend it, i dont know if they sell it over the counter but i work at a chevy dealership and it is what we use on all the cars in the showroom. very good stuff, spray it on the car and spread it out and then let it dry a little bit and then it just wipes right off. Here are some pictures tell me what you think... dont mind the crappy rims and by the way my paint is far from perfect.

well i just got back from the track.. its kind of late so i will scan the 2 time slips tomorrow but i ran a 13.503 and a 13.507 so i was pretty happy considering the car was shifting at 4800 so there is some still left in it and when i put in the 2000 ws6 rearend with some 3.73's it will drop it down some more. I think the mph was like 102 or soemthing.
haha i never said it was anything crazy.... i drive this car everyday, it has dish pistons, mid size cam, and only about 9:1 compression. Im happy with a low 13 high 12, the car was shifting at 4500 so i need to change my govenor in the tranny, and get in my posi 3.73 rearend and i will be right there. I didnt think it was a bad time for the first time out.
