Wheels up pics

Thirdgens with the front ends in the air. I can get mine up maybe an inch off the ground. But i got the new Car Craft today( the best car magazine out there) and on page 78 they have the 2003 NMCA class preview with some pretty bitchin wheel stands, At the top of the page theres a maroon firebird that looks absolutely wicked. Post yours i'll get the car craft scanned or somethin. Thirdgens look the best wheels up, that and second gens.

transam 12 sec you win thats the one i was talking about. Good to see a fellow car craft reader on here. The green one with the "3" liscence plate wins a new bumper that is the best one i've seen. Thats my new goal in life is to do that. My girls going to be taking pics tomorrow and maybe a movie of my runs tomorrow so as soon as i have them developed and put on a disk i'll put em up. Rearend problems so no guaranteed lift but ya never know. AND i havent raced it on the track since i got the springs chopped so it may not now and if it does i can kiss my exhaust and oil pan goodbye

Yup Car Craft is one of the greatest magazines I've ever read. I'd like to subscrive to GM High Tech Performance sometime soon.

I wonder what its like driving and you can't see whats in front of you.

irocbirdbuilder what mods to you have to get that much traction?

the 60' from today was a crappy 2.919. THeres a post here somewhere about what i run i spun all the way through 2nd gear and never got it back. Last time when i was running high 12's i was at sea level with the turbo and some slicks. This time altitude, no turbo and no slicks. I knew the traction wouldnt be as good with it lowered but i never expected it to be as bad *** it was on the strip

(sniff sniff)....i don't know guys! lol I really don't care either way. Its just with that suspension i can not see great things coming from it. Maybe you do have a fast car, maybe you don't. Doesn't affect me all too much in the long run. Good for you if you do. I am just interested to see what happens at the track with the car lowered like that! It reminds me of my freind's integra with his coil over kit. Rediculously low IMO, but it is your car man. Good luck with it. later guys

why do you need to get the pics developed? You must obviously have a digi cam or at least a scanner available to you. Save yourself from being called a bull****ter and scan the time slips that you got that show you running high 12's. Can't relaly BS your way out of this one.

AND i havent raced it on the track since i got the springs chopped so it may not now and if it does i can kiss my exhaust and oil pan goodbye
Oh well, this thread is going no where! I hope he got the pictures he was after by starting this thread. later
