Getting sticky crap off paint?
I removed all the badging and the door trim off my car, I am going for a stealth look, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the sticky crap off the paint? I tried nail polish remover and googone but neither one worked. Any ideas? I already filled the holes in the ground effects and am smoothing it over to give it a stealth look. Should I just sand it off since the car is getting painted anyway?

3m makes a decal/molding adhesive remover. It's NASTY stuff though. It makes me sick when I use it, but it is an option if you can't get brake cleaner to work.
The people that make PB Blaster have a product called DSR, Decal and Sticker Rremover. I used it on the adhesive underneath the door mouldings and it worked wonders. Should be able to find the stuff at any parts stores. I found mine at Napa.
