My first girlfriend in HS got an 85 berlinetta when she turned 17. (had to be 17 in NJ
)
First time I drove it I knew I had to have one. I got an 86 SC. I now have the IROC, but I'll always have a spot in my heart for that berlinetta!!!
NICE

Quick question, i've heard bad stories about berlinetta's and I had a boss who drove an 83 (at least I think it was). Now are they more valuable (if in good condition of course) than a camaro of the same year?
What do you mean "Bad stories"? Anyway about the worth more question I have been wondering that myself. Maybe though because they are a bit rarer than say an Iroc or Z-28.

Well, I had a bud of mine from work complaining about how he use to own one when his wiring had gone bad, he would try to fix one problem and it would branch out into 3 more. Not sure, just heard their a real ***** to fix.

no no al, that 18 law didnt pass.....if i did then im drivin illegally...heh......they just did a restricted license for a year......now that is cleared up....nice steal for 500 bucks
well at 17 they give you your license but it should just be called a gradutated permit! you cant be out past certain times and you cant have more then so many non family members and what not... at 18 thoes restrictions are removed and you get your license.
The guy I got her from was the first owner my grandparents neighbor. As for mods I think I'm going to keep her mostly stock but me and a friend are going to buy a trans am to "play with"
damn skippy those digital dashes can be a pain in the butt.it took 2 84 berlinettas with digital dash just to get one of them workin right theres a box underneath the dash on the passenger side 1 diode blew out in it .and they didnt leave any of the writing on to identify it tryed using other diodes that were close to spec but that just made everything worse...oh ya and the turn signal switch suck ...when they wear out its a pain in the **** to signal..
aside from that good find. looks wicked:lala: :lala: :lala:
