Fbody finland summer meet videos
here you go... the drag strip was pretty bad but some of us did see some nice times.. This was the first real fbody meeting in Finland and we had more people show up than expected... Overall there where about 50 fbodys that showed up. About 10 of us stayed the night. Too bad information was slow and alot of people didn't even know they could stay the night and just droped by to take a look.

Nice cars.
Do you guys drive them daily? When I lived in Iceland, it was about $4.00/gallon of gas back in 90.

yeah...
The left lane was a bit bumpy...
Most of us do drive them daily... Yeah fuel costs about the same 1€ per litter.. But when your into american cars its not the fuel economy that you think about first.. if you looked at the pics you'll notice that meny of us had superchargers of turbo setups. I think half of the cars that where there the whole weekend had power-adders

Nice pics BTW, I expected to see 3 cars or something but that turnout is amazing!
turnout..
The cars in the pics were of the ones that stayed the night... we had lots of people just come by and check the place out.. about 50 cars showed up in total... to bad meny of them had other plans and couldn't stay..
That was the first official meet we've had. I hope next year we can afford to bring the event more public.. Most of the people that came by didn't even know the event took place the whole weekend.. Next year will be a blast.. i hope..
Funny thing was that 1/3 of the car that took park the whole weekend with us were s/c... that was the first time in my life i got to ride a REALY fast car
and it's gonna get faster.. i just love a 383 s/c tpi

Nice cars glad to see you had a great turnout for the event, thats an old air strip is it not? Yea the left lane had some major traction problems. What computers do most of you run in those supercharged and turbo charged cars.

I've got the latest version of Divx, v5.x or something like that and the video's always stop playing about 5 seconds into it. The sound will continue but the video will no longer play.
Computer...
The guys used ether hestek or haltek engine manegment... worked great if you have the time to tune.. We only had one s/c engine take part in the drag event.. he ran mid 13's. with street tires. it was nice to see 500hp spin in third i he put the pedal down
he had serios traction problems...
a turbo charged gta ran 15's i think... and the close to stock tpi's were all plus 15.8.. i think the worst times were 16's with a stock tpi in full tune
in the video with the red gta and the vette. the gta ran mid to low 14's with a 383 tpi..

I believe the track was 400m.. It was an abondoned airfield.. We really don't have that meny good tracks.. most event's are semi-profosional.. and all the good tracks usualy have been booked for professional events...
I'm gonna hit the track again 2.8.2003 (8/2/2003 for you americans
)
I hope some of the fbodyfinland crowd can make it...
