Some cool 15" drag rims... ideas?

I am thinking of taking off my 16" IROCs for a while so I can sand them down and polish them to a high luster. In the mean time I want to find some *budget* priced rims to roll on. So that leaves me with 15's...and if I'm going with 15's I want bigs n littles

Give me some ideas.... Feel free to use the pics on my webpage for some PS jobs

those ARE NOT BOGARTS, they are centerlines they just LOOK like bogarts

and actually the fly-on series bogarts are stronger than the Weld series so i wouldn't be worried about running them on the street

i can't remember that guys name but that car is running low 10's with the potential to go faster. he runs EFI with us at the NMCA. he wants to go faster but doesn't have the proper cage to go any faster than 9.999. anyhow, that car is BAD!

oh, and those slicks are radial slicks. it's wierd, they're not like a set of drag radials, they are slicks with radial bands in them.

his name is Tom....he has changed his motor some and it is going 9.70s now on motor.

You are correct, they are radial slicks. They are very soft and dont grow at all. They are great tires but very pricey

your absolutely right. i remember his name is tom. i have talked with him several times. i saw him at the cecil county race (nmca) and talked with him there for an hour or so. so if he is running 9.70's, what has he done for a cage. has he put the 10pt. conversion in?

buy some IROC rims, change the tires to the new rims, then sell the rims once you get done with the polishing job.....

Thanks for the suggestions. And thank you guys for JACKING my thread. Who cares where that pic was taken? This is about rims, not how fast so and so's car is and where the pic was taken.

sorry, my suggestion would be for any of the weld or centerline brands line of wheels. they all look absolutely amazing on these cars. happy......?

however, non of these are truely *budget* wheels. if i where in your shoes, i would buy a set of the Wheel Vintiques corvette ralley wheels for like ~$60 a piece. they are steel, and they may not look the "coolest", but they will work just fine for what your doing.

I dont know of any rims you could have big/littles while staying on a budget. I have 15's and I have a tight budget so i went with these. Sure you see em all the time, but not too often will u see them kept up lookin like new. People say all the time these rims flow perfectly with my GFX. Give em a shot, theyre dirt cheap.
