I'd use a 245 on a 8" wide rim.

what do u think is better for cornering? mine seem to be pretty good but seem to small for the rim. on my 15x7's i had 235's on my 15x8's i had 245. this car had 235's stock. im not gettin new ones for atleast 10K miles.but i just wanted to know if mine are to small and if the wider ones would be better

235s at the very least. 245s is what an 8" wide wheel should have.

if they're in the back to me that is way to skinny looking. and like said you want better handling, then you may want to go a little wider

could them being to small be the cause behind why they are wearing so bad?

get the alignment checked/fixed if the tires are wearing really fast. could also be just the type of tire, some wear faster then others. also check air pressures cold. a lot of hp on those skinny rear tires doesnt help either.

alignment is good. the tires are z-rated and i think that makes them wear faster. i run between 35-40 psi. the tires are rated 40 psi. horsepower?? whats that? my car is about the slowest v6 on the road..i really like the tires for the reason that they have great grip, dry cornering is good, dry traction is good (or maybe i have no power?) and wet traction is good.
