Clear side markers!

I gotta say I really think that they look a lot better on my car! I've gotta get around to getting a new pair of front turn signals now because they are horribly foggy and nasty!

But if anyone was in question of getting them or not, here is a compairson shot that I took after I installed them in one side.

Here's a picture of the stock ones:

And these are the clear ones:

that looks good with the clears , but you know what looks better none at all. when my car needs a paint job im gonna shave the front and rear markers, yeah its illegal but no cop or anyone will ever know, its so subtle but it will look better.

looks great! can you get a pic of the whole car with the clear markers installed? It's always better to judge how it looks when you can see the whole car IMO

Thanks for your feedback everyone! As for that method I can't say that I have tried that! I might have to try that then! Becuase anytime I have seen the light listed on Ebay they were going for $65+! Which I can somewhat understand considering GM has not been making our cars for quite some time.

as for shaving the lights.... I kinda like the clear ones a whole lot for now and retaining legality.

Before I took the picture I had just finished washing and "Formula 113"ing my car, and sadly here in PA the weather has been ugly so since then I have had to keep her in the garage. My plan is the next time it is nice outside to go get some new pictures!

I originally bought the rims and they were painted with silver inserts. Since my car is white, I wanted them to be painted white. There is a local place around here that fixes rims and such, so I took the wheels there and had them balanced and fixed as well as painted.

They are 1991-1992 Camaro Z28 16x8 rims.

And I have Bridgestone Potenza RE730 P245/50ZR-16 Tires mounted on them.

Note: I also bought new center caps as well.

The clear lenses look great. I love the look thats why I put them on my car. I don't like the amber lights at all.

On most colors then amber jsut sticks out and is an eyesore. The clears are a nice touch and help hide the ugly marker lights.

Looks great man. It was a HUGE improvement when I installed clear sides. As for the front signal lenses...the only way to keep moisture out of them is to seal them. I think that silicone seal would be your best bet. Now that I think about it, I need to do that too.

Thanks for posting a pic nikh23! I'm a big fan of the clear side markers now!

I finally got the chance to take some pictures the other day. Here is one of the side shots.

Other pictures can be seen at the other post I started!

Right, that's where I got them. I did a quick search on Ebay for anyone who might be interested.

Both are currently at $18.95 + $10.00 s/h

Listed as: 85-92 CAMARO/FIREBIRD CLEAR SIDE BUMPER LIGHT
