1990 convertible 100% original with 18,000 miles. What I wouldn't give to have this one in my garage!

I always would like to know the story behind the cars like that thought... I don't know how someone could just buy a beautiful car like that and basically NOT drive it!! Unless they had intentions to sell it like this down the road or something?

I love seeing nice thirdgens on Ebay like that! I've seen quite a few of them go for top dollar as well! Especially some TTA's that I've seen on there!

Yeah, things like that interest me as well. I was in the Bahamas a few months ago and I sort of got lost on some side raods and I stumbled accross what looked to be an 87 IROC. Not sure how it got there, but there it was. It was in this old busted up shed with a torn tarp on it. From the ODO, it only had 28K on it, but it looked to not been driven in probably ten years. It still had the Gatorback tires on it, but they were completely flat. The paint was just about gone due to the sand and salt, but the body was perfect and so was the interior. Nobody was around, I really wanted to ask some questions.

The auction says the owner was a 65 year old man who had won the car in a Marlboro promotion. It's a lot easier to own one without driving it in that case. Probably would have driven the wheels off of a Caddy or something if he had won one of those...

A few years ago some guy died. His kids inherited his house, and realized that there was like a room with no doors kind of, like just a bunch of empy space. So they hired someone to take down the wall, and on the other side was a brand new corvette, I forget the year, somthing in the 70's i'm pretty sure. This thing had something like 18 miles on it. I still cannot figure out why someone would leave a car sealed up in a room for 30 years.

*Tells self my car is better because umm uhh yea, because damnit

Yes, it looks nice. Its stock so I am not all that excited, but its still nice to see a thirdgen surviving in original condition.
