Look at my Camaro. (happy?)

Gee wiz guys, look at my 1991 Chevy Camaro Z28 in the top left corner. Also, since it's there, check out the really big hillbilly truck. Anyways, besides the truck, the camaro is equiped with a cammed and exhausted 355. And check out that 4" Harwood cowl induction hood.

Mods on authority trip!

Ok, Where did the first pic of my Camaro go? I went by the forum rules and I still cannot post a pic of a truck even though it was with my Camaro. Great Moderating.

Keep it up man...

If you honestly don't know why I removed the picture, send me a PM and I'd be happy to explain it to you.

You've been warned twice now.

Man that's a huge hood.

My friend just ordered one from Hawk's that size, for his '91 RS.

I see your Harwood fits just as bad as mine (large gap between the bumper cover/hood).. Car looks great though, I like it!

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

The hood is a Harwood 4" and it doesn't fit right because of a fence accident befor the hood was installed. The nose droops down and I havent got time to modify it yet.

1/4 mile times so far through (25,000 bend) exhaust is a 14.05 @103.12mph.

You need to be in the 12's before putting in all those guages

as u can see he edited his post.... and maybe he changed it because he didnt want everyone knowing his real time..... besides it doesnt matter if he runs 12s or even 9s this is an appearance topic and it "appears" to be a nice setup....

no offense dude, but thats a pretty dumb comment, well anyways people like him and myself have shift lights in our automatic, because we shift the gears ourselves and dont keep it in drive. We dont use slp parts which really dont do anything like improve lift and duration of the cam, and cause it so you have to shift higher than stock rpms. So therefore we need to shift our car manually, and just like the stick guys a shift light is nice to have. As for the hood, did you ever think he might need the hood clearance?

Aside from that huge hood it's nice. I mean it's cool but a 3" would be nicer, it doesn't seem to fit too good either.

Thanks for the constructive critisim bro. Actually the hood serves no purpose, so I think I'm going to put the stock one on now. I have nothing under the hood to back up my sesna (not 747) cockpit I have, I just did that because I seen some integras and civics with that set-up before and I thought that maybe I could be as cool as them. The shift light is just a "bad-***" appearence mod that I thought I would also do to try and be cool. I set it at 2500 RPM's just to watch it go on. BTW, can you post a couple pics of your car? I just want to make a few comment on why it was a nice car and anything that you did to it sucks. I put alot of hard work, money and time into my car, and even though your comments do not mean anything to me and I could care less, it's discouraging to hear such boligerant comments from somebody that knows so little about my car. And since my car is so slow and is all show and no go like you think, come on over to chi-town and give a big ol' ars whippin' to the 747 Civic wanna-be.

Sack-up and bring some money cause daddy needs some more gauges RACING!

I wouldnt buy a 4 inch hod but I do lke looking at it on others cars. You got a pretty nice Z. For all the people who hate the gauges and refer to it as a plane , I would fly that one all day long!

I think for any auto enthusiast there is no such thing as to many gauges. Unless you got two that do the same thing. Some people might actually want to monitor whats going on besides fuel, speed, and amps and water temps. How about fuel pressure, possibly a boost gauge, tranny temps, vacuum gauge, AFR gauge, they all have a purpose, I think theres even a BS gauge in there so when an import with a big wing and fart can pull up it will tell him if its worth wasting gas or not.
