Ways to Improve, well it depends on where you would want to take the car as far as appearance goes.....

Here is what i would do, some things may be done, but i can't see much from the picture...
  • Tint Windows
  • Clear Side markers
  • Red taillights
  • Z28 grill or billet grill (depending on taste)
  • Lowering
  • New hood over the stock RS one
  • Shave Antenna
  • Remove the mudflaps
That is about all i could suggest from that picture....

Don't get me wrong though, the car does look nice now.....

Looks real nice. I would also get a GoodMark cowl induction hood, do a 4th gen drum to disk conversion and install the Baer 13" front brake kit.

Like the others said. we need more pics to rate it. From what I can see though, it looks very sharp.
Tint Windows
Clear Side markers
Lowering
New hood over the stock RS one
Shave Antenna
Remove the mudflaps
I agree with flyinlow on these too.

yeah some better pics would be nice, but the rims look great on the car, plus with the top down makes it even better.

just some f.y.i for lawbreaker2, thirdgen.org is a tech only message board, meaning no off topic/ bs chat boards.

I happen to like the stock hood. I think you have a real clean-looking car. I, however, am not a fan of those wheels. Just my opinion.

I give it a solid 2.5.

Just kidding. That car is gorgeous. If you gave me the car (heh) I would add:

A cage
The Spohn BIG brake kit
Charcoal Z06 rims
The SS/L88-looking hood.

FWIW that car is awesome in my book.

Peace,

K

Lower it with good lowering springs
Put a 350 or 383 in it

I like the wheels and I like drop tops in general- keep up the good work!

only one thing i disagree with in that..... dont tint the windows!

think about it... when you have the windows up most of the time IN A VERT, its either:

raining, and you will want to see out of them...
night time, and cold... you also want clear then.

if you want to look good in a vert on a day when tint would be to your advantage, you should already have the top down anyway...

as far as tinting to protect people from seeing whats inside, well one of the downsides of having a vert is that you cannot leave anything of value inside.. so its not like you should have somthing laying around anyway...

and as far as it being hotter when you get in it after being parked, you can just fold the roof back and all the heat rises out almost instantly....

just my opinions though... i mean it looks cool, but unlike in a coupe, a vert would be at a greater disadvantage most of the time and see less of the benifits... *shrug

not a fan of the rims....for some reason they look photoshopped??? think its just because the rims came out clearer then the rest of the pic. Anyways the only thing that seemes a little bit odd is the stance of the car??? the back end looks a little too low in comparison to the front but maybe its just because im not used to looking at verts. Other then that its basically stock but looks like its in really good condition. Id give it a 6 just based on condition wouldnt give it anything higher because its a stocker.

EDIT : Remember when taking pics that your camera is going to set its light settings for the brightest object in the frame so a black car with a bright sky behind it means the sky is going to turn out and not the car....try to make sure that the main light source is coming off the car just be careful of the glare...

Aside from the wheels all it needs is to be lowered and that's it.

Well if it was mine...And not just on looks this is what I would in order.

1.350 And build it to handle some juice
2.Buy a hood from rex, go with the cowl or SS
3.Rims
4.N20
5.Nice Exaust System (will get you more looks than anything, when they hear that chevy pound in head's turn!)
6.Lower that pony killer!

not in any order:

SFCs
STBs
wonderbar
shocks/stuts
poly bushings
tubular k member
tubular a arms
LCAs
panhard
TQ arm
9" rear with 4.10s
alum or carbon fiber driveshaft
T56
one of SEVERAL engine combos that would yeld 425+hp to the rear wheels.. while keeping 24+mpg on the hwy
poly engine and tranny mounts
clear turn lights
wider tires... 11" on rear 9.5" on front
shave door handles
shave antenna
shave gas cap
subwoofer in trunk where spare tire used to be
a nice stereo system
add a elec trunk release
rewire the tonnu cover to release with a button on it. similar to the 92s
redo dash gauges
blue LEDs behind the gauges
for extra rigity, brace the inside of the doors, and then add a 2nd striker bolt.. like the 4thgens have.

thats all i feel like typing right now

It looks good. I would like it a lot more if the rims were not face mounted.

get rid of the thirdgen typical SUV stance. Lower it at least 2 inches

Thanks for all the input. As you can see in my sig below, some of the suggested mods have already been done (SFC's, Exhaust, Stereo, Etc.)

Ideas that I plan to use:

Eibach Lowering Springs
Struts and Shocks
Edelbrock 3 point STB
Hood (Steel or Fiberglass?)
Rear Disk Brakes (Low Priority)
5 Speed (Low Priority)

I'm suprised that some of you don't like the wheels. I think they look nice.

Any other ideas?
