New pics of the California IROC

I thought I'd slap one more coat of wax on the original 18 year old paint before I get it repainted here in a few months. Plus I can now show some before/after pics after getting my new springs installed. I also got a chance to try out a Mother's clay bar...makes the paint feel smoother than a baby's ****.

Same spot, different season, different lighting

Enjoy. Feedback is always welcome. Some came out a bit dark, sorry about that!

Before lowering:

After lowering:

Tried to get a little artsy with this shot..came out too dark though

Here's my favorite! :P

Here's a closeup - still a pretty good reflection. The car was a little dirty when I took the picture though

Hehe, the springs have had plenty of time to settle. But, factor in that the original springs had 18 years to sag, and the pro-kit only provides a 1 inch drop in the first place, the difference wasn't going to be highly noticeable. It was dropped maybe 3/4 of an inch in the front and probably between 1/4-1/2 inch in the rear.
I was going more for performance over looks anyways - otherwise I would have gotten the sportlines. As it is, I've only got maybe 1 1/2 inches of clearance with my exhaust. I bottom out on my steep driveway a LOT.

Front: (if you look hard you can see my bilsteins peeking out :P)

Awesome IROC, I love the pics.

When you repaint it, are you keeping that color?

Thanks for the kind words everyone

MetalliCamaro: Yes, and for two reasons...

1) originality

2) I love the color. The deep red is just awesome. A lot better than the bright rally red they used on 98-02 camaros.
