alright guys back in business now, only thing at the moment not working is the enlarged images
update: they are working to the fullest extent, jsut they might get used up wrather fast since i only get 1GB of bandwidth and you guys used the rest real fast before so imade a new angelfire account. I used to run my own server until my step-dad blocked all ports on our hardware firewall.

yeah, thanks all of you on the complements. If none of you have nnoticed this is the only thing i've done to my car and posted that people have complemented me on.
Yeah, that was as soon as i came back from school and i didn't leave the wing on for them to paint it too. I put it on a little after the pic, i'll have more pics tomorow though.

Hey, I think you found a deal to be happy with. The paint looks sharp, and you're obviously happy with it - all at an acceptable price. I've got to start thinking on body and paint work now that I've done a good portion of the mechanicals...

yes guys i am very happy with the paint job i got. i got it at SprayGlo which is a place mainly in the northeastern parns of the US. It was only $720, but that was mainly becuase i did prep work my self and they had to take it all off, they charge $35 an hour for prep. So you'd be better off with it doing your own prep. Base job price was $400, i would have had to pay a $1,000 but they gave me nearly $250 off the price. So ya know dont always think tat these cheap shosp do very bad jobs, only one imperfection on my car. That was it and its being fixed by the 2 year warentee tomorow.

i dont trust those pics....imperfections are almost impossible to see in photographs.....my buddy just got a 900 dollar (canadian) paint job and it looks like crap, wavy as hell on the passenger door, and a bunch of little imperfections that will eventually chip off, plus the texture is just weird and it doesnt have enough clear coat on it......hope yours looks a lot better then his and from the pics it looks like it is but like i said that stuff is pretty hard to see in a picture.

"d00d" it looks like the silver surfer shat on your car. Although I guess my paint did cost a little more, it was like $16,000 with parts and install. They threw a few extras on it for me too tho. Cant remember the name of the place, think it was somewhere in Van Nuys, Cali tho.

As far as not trusting pics. Heres another of my car that I took in bad lighting with a bad camera when the car actually looked alot better than it did the day I took the other pic. Kinda the opposite direction doug was implying..but I agree with him.

yeah i saw that and thought oh yeah he got his car in the junkyard after everyone took everthing out of it, and paid the auto body shop to fix it back for him. but then i thought, who would be such a retard.
and yeah guys, trust me i've seen runs before and i dont have any. i have a couple of spots where the paint gets higher then lower but its because of the way i removed the pin stripes. The car was painted 7 times previously. and the pin stripes were there all 7 of them so the rasor made it really hard still. One thing i do think i should have done though is waited until i could buy some t-top weather stripping because i'm a little afraid to take my stuff off now to fix the leak. The previous owner got new seals 2 years ago but they leak. He did a **** pore job.

If you said the "overspray" was your fault, then it looks very nice for a 700 bux job. Only two major things I see is a ding in drivers door, and the common gm hood line thing.
If its what you can afford, and are happy, looks good. I'm sure its better then the multi color you said it was before.

If you guys hate the low res pics above and absoluely have to see the high res pics click on the links below, otherwise please be cautios about my bandwidth consumption.
I REPEAT PLEASE BE VERY CATIOUS OF THE BANDWIDTH CONSUMPTION becuase other people who could help me with that feature wont be able to.

heres the rear hatch, kinda cool
there is that tiny dent in the driver side door
and here is the cheapest and best way to fix all your broken rubber spoiler. I filled the entire hole with bondo and then sanded it down and painted it black, you can barely tewll the difference except for the shine, but it will soon go away.
