Anyone build a shrine for their Thirdgen?

I'm sure there are many of you that are Thirdgen freaks like I am and have some part of the house dedicated to your car!

I'm working on mine, hope to have pics soon! I have all kinds of Camaro and chevy stuff (posters, calanders, stickers, models etc...) Trying to organize it all for a display is gonna be hard!

Post your shrines here!

Yea.. I call it my garage.
Since the car never leaves there.. it's more like a museum piece than anything. If only I had some velvet ropes to put around it...

Shrine? Haven't done that yet....

Although when i get my new rims, I'm going to find myself a good looking girl to pose with it, and blow that picture into a poster and hang it on my wall....

I got the same exact thing in my basement bedroom with pics of a bunch of cool muscle cars (camaros, chevelles, nova's, etc.). My walls are all pretty much huge collages of pics from magazines and brochures from over the past couple years. Also got my smashed fender hanging on the wall for a lil added effect. I'll get some pics of it sometime.

I don't have a shrine, but I have literally over 2,000 sketches and drawings of thirdgens. I draw them on everything, everywhere, from school, to concerts, movie stub tickets, etc. If there is a blank peice of paper and I have a writing utencil handy, you bet there will be a thirdgen in that space.

So I guess I am a bit of a thirdgen freak.

...Until one day you return home and find your car and parts on the curb. Maybe it's time to organize a bit, eh?

Wow. Unless you know someone pretty well and can bet that they will take a statement like that as a good-natured joke, that's probably NOT a good way to make inroads.

my dad also has alot of his stuff on the other side of my car. its just a mess right now because its winter and i'm putting AFR heads on the 400. its no were near this messy in the summer. besides, as long as ive been living at my house(17 years) there has only been one car in our garage. my parents told me that i could have the garage when i bought my car. they said it was to nice to let sit out side. my old man just likes to bust my *****.

No wonder you got put on probation. If you have to trash talk peoples cars like that then maybe you should just buy a honda and stick to playing hockey

I think Evilcartmans car looks pretty good.

Anyway, I dont have my shrine built yet, but somehow in the last 3 years that ive owned and loved thirdgens, it seems like my whole house has transformed into a giant thirdgen junkyard. The garage is littered with engines, heads, intakes etc... There are body panels strewn about the basement... My room is home to countless gauges, interior parts, whatever. Did you know that some people actually put their cars in the garage and their parts outside??? Who would have thought....

Does this count? Not quite a shrine, but it's fully functional

There's also another big table off to the left that is completely lined with parts above and below

Thanks for the comments guys I'm just not the type to collect a bunch of stuff like models, posters and what have you about cars. I do however have the stock transmission and the junk TH400 plus other parts laying around in the garage Never said I didn't like my car, well.. maybe sometimes when the thing isn't running LOL

Hehe, I'm still waiting to see hockeyplyr70's car or shrine

my shrine is yet to be constructed, but my brother in laws step father had a sweet racing shrine in his old house. it was this like cabinent in the wall that he had just LOADS of nascar, mainly earnhart stuff in. it was pretty sweet, he had some sweet looking models.

I like to hang broken parts on my garage wall. I got a frozen throwout bearing from my old jeep that squealed like a cat stuck in a blender when it was in the car and the ring and pinion gears from the first 9 bolt I fragged in my IROC. I also have a new dashpad hung off the ceiling along with an old dresser piled up with parts and old NOS boxes from all my nitrous junk. Theres also about 2 sets of tires and a full set of IROC rims in my garage attic along with various other parts being stored in our shop, like a spare 9 bolt, some old heads, and 2 more tires for the IROC waiting for a burnout contest. Our mechanics complain about all the parts for my car laying around but as long as we sign the checks I tell them to just enjoy being in the presence of 3rd gen junk

I think i may have a pic of the old bird and the camaro blown up. i wonder who can make it a full life size pic??? hummmm

Heres a shrine
and next to that is where i have to store the Camaro for winter
as for a shrine in the house... WE WONT EVEN GO THERE!!! ... for G0D sakes i got Camaro seats in my room with 10" woofers under them... hell in a week or two i might get some iroc rims and rear hatch glass and make a coffee table... and some GM remote power door locks for my room ...

Thanks street roc, and by the way its not in my shop its in my office. That was just a pic of when I finished it. Don't know if you can tell but that is poly lite over the pic and stickers. The stuff like they use on bar tops and what not. If you do this and use it make sure you glue your pictures down on all four corners or they will float to the top and screw it up.

How did you do that? It looks like a rear seat! I'm not sure if mine is a 'maro one, but it was easy to build.
