5 inch spoiler on a vert

i really love the 5 inch spoiler from hawks but my problem is i have a vert. does anyone know if the center section will bolt on right??? and then i'd have to modify the side pieces because of the verts spoiler pieces correct?

Send Hawks an email. That would be your best bet. Later.

You'll have some massaging to do.
The plastic pieces running down the sides of car cover the welds used to make the vert deck lid and boot.
These need to be ground down or removed so the spoiler will fit.

If you remove the center section of your vert spoiler there is a pocket where the 3rd brake light sits that would need to be filled so the new spoiler sits flush.

TPI383 is contemplating whether or not to attempt the swap on his vert the last time he and I chatted.

would i be able to just extend the tips of the side pieces iwth some fiberglass? or would i be able to get the outer edges of the center section of the 5 inch spoiler to meet the stock side pieces by shaping them down some?

If you're going to do it, I say go all the way! Remove the cover and finish those welds the way they should have been to begin with. After that's done, it looks like the decklid is the same size so the spoiler should mount right up. By the way, I think it'd look awesome when completed.
