Underhood dress up, post pics, and parts
Looking to see what people have been doing for underhood dress up.
I'm looking to getthe engine bay painted this winter, and well, besides doing some powder coating onthe brackets and such, i want to dress up some other stuff... i'll be cleaning up all the a/c stuff too..
Some things i'll be looking for would include:
- getting rid of both of the over sized, absolutely huge tanks on either side, and replacing them with something smaller and better looking.
- Chrome radiator top bracket
- Chrome brake fluid resevoir cover/ clutch resevoir too maybe?
- polished, or billet strut mounts.
and any other pieces anybody else has done... the engine is already painted, nice valve covers and the bracketry will be getting PC'd like i said, probably just a reg silver (nuthin fancy)
Does anybody think a chrome alt case and black fan would be too much too?

I replaced mine with a combo unit off a 91 Ford Explorer.

I've polished a bunch of stuff under my hood....that's really about it....it's not over down or anything....and I'm about do for a new coolant tank
The picture makes it look more red than actually is when looking at it in person. I started to go another route but have won Best Late Model Class in the car shows in 3 out of 4 times I joined in one so I left it alone. It grows on you....

FB305svs, I did to the tensioner. I had to be careful on it and baked it at a little cooler temp and a process of heat and cool, the same way I do plastic. It has been over a 1 1/2 and no problems yet.

Heres my 305 TPI in my Iroc. It wasn't very clean that day but it works for the most part.
It doesn't let me post it the right way as a attachment so I guess I gotta do it the cheap way as a IMG. Oh well.
