After deciding and waiting for a month I finally received these today. Four brand spankin new chrome Ronal R15s. These were the second last available set. As soon as I get tires (BFG KDWs) next week, I'll post some pics on the car.

Where did you get those wheels. They look awesome! Aren't the ronals distributed by SLP? I didn't know you could get them chromed.

Lol, Nice wording there, reminds me of something I seen in the Summit Catalog yesterday.
I had to scan it so everyone could see.

I got them from one of our site sponsors, Hawks. Great service. Ordered them Sunday, had them Wednesday. As of Sunday he had two sets of these left. He got them direct from Ronal chromed. Has anyone ever seen a car with these on. I've seen plenty of the regular variety, but never the chromed before. And yes, SpeedDemon, they are the Firehawk wheels. Ronal makes them and SLP just put different center caps on. These are now discontinued, so if anybody else is thinking about Ronals, better jump now. Hawks had two chrome and two regular sets left, and I got one of the chrome.

Cool CALIROC, so you ordered the last set. Just wondering, did you order because of the pics I posted? You have to do them justice and put some huge lug summer high performance tires on them in a 275 width.
me too!!!!!
There gone! I bought the last set of the ronal chrome wheels. Ordered mine monday got them thursday. Hey 87 gta What rubber are you gonna put on these bad boys. I'll probably mount mine sometime next week also. Hoping for a nice day to bring my car out. I'll show some pictures when there on.

Paccio, I'm going to go with BF Goodrich g-force KDW ultra high performance summer tires in size 275/40/17. Did you get yours from Hawks, too?
Yes i got them from hawks. I was thinking for sometime on which set of wheels to go with. I read some of the discussions you had about the same exact subject i was working on.I was thinking of the fikse rims. Emailed them about size and cost never recieved any response. Was also thinking the ss zr1 wheels with the spacer issue. The price of these wheels hurt, but they do look awesome. They sent mine missing two center caps. (almost had aheart attack). They said they had them and would send them. The disscussions here on this site along with the pictures help make this a easy choice. Thanks everyone.

Those rims are gonna look killer I want to see the after pics. What rims are you swapping out, if there the GTAs and you are thinking of selling let me know I may be interested.
hey 87 gta, what kind of pricing are you getting on the g-force 275/40/17. discount tire here said $212 per tire installed.I was thinking about buying them online for maybe $150 and then having them installed at local shop i know. Any better luck?

Tire Rack has them for $179 plus $34 shipping for all four. They can drop ship them to my local STS tire center so I don't have to lug them around. Mounting and balancing would be around $65 for all four, I know that sounds like alot, but I'm not taking them to some some small time garage and have them mess up my new wheels just to save a couple bucks. So everything works out to like a little over $200 per tire mounted and balanced. Before I go this route though, there is a local place here that always has really good prices when I have bought tires before. So, I'll check with them first. I'd like to thank everyone for their kind words. Without this site, I would have never known anything like these were still available.
