lol it looks like someone tried to clone that vert that Graboid posted a few months back. Interesting idea tho, its probably just color matched transparent paint... I assume that it would be difficult to mix but don't have any experience with it.

I saw an article on how to do that once. It was for a disappearing 3rd brake light on trucks. It's done by doing one light coat of paint over the lights so you can see it but it's still transparent.

I see how a lot of you guys think that could be like a "night shades" kinda thing, but if you look at it, it's got one hell of a shine to it, it would take a badass clear coat to get it to look like that. I think he somehow dissasembled the taillights and just painted the grids and then polished the lens'.

you know, you can almost do that with iroc taillights... paint the grids body color...
