looks like an excaliber rip off kit car. Neat lookin, low mileage too! I would definately change the interior, and I'm curious to know what the trunk looks like...

First off, why the hell couldn't the guy get a whole Camara shot of the whole car?

Aside from the "low" miles even the description is wrong. Its a FIREBIRD, not Camaro. see the dash/gauges?

the one cool thing about that is , could you imagine the looks on peoples faces if you were doin a burnout with that thing. It would be funny as hell to see it do a burnout. But other than that it doesnt looks that good bc of the door and the piller are stock .

you can't really tell that from the pictures... the interior coulda been swapped out. the only possible way (unless you can get it from the VIN)of telling what that car used to be has been hidden; the bodyline between the sail panel has been bondoed over....
the sail panel of that.. thing..

Uhhhh... AFAIK and someone verify this if I'm wrong, but Camaros and Firebirds have the EXACT same lines on the sail panels on the outside.

[edit] I looked at some pics on readers rides and sure enough, it looks like maybe there is a difference. [edit]

The sail panels are indeed very different. Line up a firebird and a camaro side by side and it will jump out and shake your hand.

The firebird tail is about 2" wider overall than a camaro tail width, and this starts right at the sail panel thus there is a very pronounced body line on the bird sail panel. HTH!

Ya learn something new everyday. I guess that only makes sense, considering how much wider the Firebird tail it than the Camaro's.

they make a "kit car" like that for a "camaro?" HTH , that would be way too much fabrication from removal and installation.
what a perfectly good waste of a camaro. NG

Oh, man, that thing is awesome! It combines the smooth style of a 40s Rolls Royce with the (I presume) muscle of a 3rdgen. I love it! :hail: :hail: :hail:

On a side note, I can't believe people actually list cars without any sort of description whatsoever. If I'm selling one of my cars I write up a glowing, but truthful and extremely detailed overview of the car. I run down all the pertinent facts....because I know I wouldn't buy a car online without knowing every single detail.

I guess he figures he can't go wrong with his "Here's my neat car. Want it?" eBay ad.

I think someone has posted something similar before. I believe there was another ebay auction with a similar car that had a link to another site with more info. I've seen a webpage on those kits it is a third gen.

for those who were trying to decode the VIN

Here is what carfax had to to say about it. I do believe the VIN number is for a minivan.

Hey there's a guy here in town who has one of those. I puke every time I see it. His is actually built on a Z28, but still......dammmmmmmn. He's a really nice guy so it's hard to imagine why he could do such a horrific thing to a Camaro.

BTW he also has a Porsche 911 that has a blown and nitroused 383 sticking through the hood, so he can't be all bad!
